The staff at Charles Snyder Funeral Home made the process of funeral planning for my mother as seamless as possible. From the moment I walked in, Eve greeted me with kindness, compassion and empathy, guiding myself and my family though the process as if she were a friend. Being in this industry, you wonder if people become desensitized to this process, but I assure you, everyone at Charles Snyder makes you feel like your family is their family, planning every detail with meticulous care. Thank you for making such a hard season of life a bit easier.
Charles F Snyder funeral Home did the funeral service and burial for my husband. From the time we first met to the last time we left the grave site, they were with us, comforting us and making sure everything went smoothly. Their facilities are so easy to be in and are comfortable and lovely. Everything you need is there. The hard paperwork was done easily and with help for the future paperwork still needing to be done. They reach out to see how I am, and afterwards offer more help with either grief counseling or any kind of logistic need. I highly recommend them, and John Kenderdine did a great job for us.
We appreciate everything that the staff did for us, especially Mark Burkholder. He was very supportive and explained everything to us clearly in order for us to make the best decision. Mark was always willing to answer our questions and took amazing care of our family and our wishes for the ceremony. We also greatly appreciated the way the entire staff of Charles F Snyder was always ready to help no matter what. The location was very nice and welcoming, offering us a safe place to hold our ceremony. Overall, we are very happy with the turn out and would highly recommend Charles F Snyder!
Grateful and truly blessed has my family been for decades by entrusting "ONLY" Charles F. Synder Funeral home and Crematory with our loved ones final homegoing services. The loss of a family member is the most vulnerable and heartbreaking time we all must go through. It's a wound that never totally heals yet we just learn how to carry it a little lighter each day. The trust, respect and outstanding service their teams provide is unparallel to any others. Over 30 years Snyder funeral home have served Lancaster County not just service, but I personally consider them family. I have attended over 40 funerals for my loved ones, and Snyder is always there. Last month my mother suddenly passed, and the pain was so unreal that it felt, as if my heart was being pulled out of chest, I knew God would carry but Snyder would support me, just like they have done in the past. I had the privilege to work with Chad Snyder Elite team located at 414 East King Street to provide a 3-day funeral service for my mother. The attention to detail provided, reduced my stress and soothed my heart, Candice Riely my Lord thank you doesn't touch the level of gratitude my heart has for you. You want above and beyond the call to aide, support and love on my family that I consider you an earthly Angel When I couldn't speak you knew what I needed through a simple look into my face. Your hugs are magical, and smile was the sunshine my heart needed to carry me over the weekend long programs. In my personal will you guys have already been selected to entrust my finally needs. Everyone at Snyder Funeral Home was very professional and answered all of our concerns my family had. In fact, they still keep in touch to see if we have any issues after my husband’s death.
Losing my husband of 40 year's has been the hardest thing in my life. You dread the day you have to go to the funeral home and make all the decisions you never should have to make. I highly recommend Charles F Snyder Funeral Home. They are empathetic, professional and go above and beyond. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by well dressed and kind people. They made a very bad day bearable. They know what they are doing and never tried to up sell us. They are very reasonably priced. If you're having a church service having them there is a must. Sharon George was there for me and my family every step of the way. She also called me and emailed me the following days to see how I was doing. The staff regularly checks in on me and it's been 3 weeks since his service. They also provide info on grief counseling for those who may feel they need it. They treated my husband with the dignity and respect he deserved. For that I will be forever grateful.
My Mother passed suddenly but had made all of her arrangements through Snyder’s. They walked us through her wishes and we added our own. There has been a lapse until we can have her service but they have provided legal help as well as checking on my wellbeing. That is huge and so appreciated
When a person thinks of a funeral, it is customary to think “solemnity reflecting sadness “. Indeed, the funeral service which included the Catholic Mass for my wife was a solemn event. However, the word heard frequently afterward to describe the service was “beautiful”. The same word describes well the person whose life was remembered and celebrated. Though the family provided a general plan for the service, it was the staff at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home who, with care and consideration, provided the coordination necessary to bring the plan to fruition. My family and I are pleased. Daniel F.
Mark Brubaker was awesome to work with. Explained every aspect of service they provide plus added a few personal views which helped personalize dad's service. Mark was especially helpful since my dad passed away out of state.
