I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I was looking for this spacious glorious library you guys mentioned. And the address on google said it’s  3320 Haverford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19104  I came here and it turned out to be a super small children library and it’s only one room and 5 desks?  Is there anything wrong ?  Where is that awesome pretty library?

The library that were praised by many reviews and with lots of room is actually "Parkway Central Library", located at 1901 Vine St, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Nice small branch. Beware that all the photos shown here but one are from the large Parkway Central Library and not the small Charles L. Durham Library Branch.

I remember on hot summer days going here just to get out and be around people in air conditioning.. Pre-Pandemic... This world sucks now, my Dad used to say it changed from the 70s, now im saying IT CHANGED SINCE THE 90's early 2000s!!! I hope libraries stand the test of time... Most of them are on PRIME real estate that the city would love to sell. Support ur local library!!

It was a nice place best one to me in West Philly, loved the after school homework help and they book selection is good

I mean the people at the front desk were the sweetest but my god the lady by the computers was heinous. I'd never been there before and asked for help. And god she was mean and knows nothing about personal space. All I asked was a simple question and she babied me and scolded me. God she was awful.pity my first visit was so awful.

The place is spacious, personally, this one is not impressive compared to many libraries from New York and Boston. But this library has a large collection of map, you need to make an appointment to get access. I recommend tourist to visit the Cathedral Church across street. A simi red/brown stone building, with green semi dome roof, Cathedra of SS Peter and Paul
