Highly recommend this private club for numerous reasons. First they have a very large dance floor and great live music to dance to. The facility is super clean and the folks running the club really have it together.
So much has changed at the Lodge & I have to share that the energy & vibe is contagious! Laughing, having drinks, sharing stories, great food & you can feel it when you walk in the door. The appointed Board of Officers & Administrator are doing a fantastic job! Over & above their call of duties & learning the rules according to Moose International, the right way. As a current Bartender there, it is nice to have a team who has your back, includes all staff as part of the team, trust your judgment, give’s understanding & positive encouraging energy. They appreciate all the hard work everyone does & jumps in to help whenever needed to make every night as successful as possible. I am so grateful to be a part of this Lodge & what it represents. Helping the community, our members in need & all the kid’s & elderly at Moose International. That’s what it’s truly about. Helping others! Kudos to all for being so amazing including the Ladies of the Moose & learning everything in the here and now. We have the best members with great character who love our Lodge & their loyalty is everything! Thank you all for your volunteering as well as all the members who make our Lodge so great. I know I appreciate everyone of you!
The band was good, it's a very friendly place. Plenty of parking
9/11/2 Very clean, nice and friendly. We had dinner before so did not have any food. But looked delicious. Had a band playing that was very good. We are members of The Oil City Moose. Thank you for a enjoyable evening!! Jack & Sue Kevin & Karen
The local Moose Lodge has the best food in town that is reasonably priced. You have to join in order to be a member and with membership comes responsibility, no nonsense, dress proper, no acting up or your out. It gets a little smokey in the building at times because it's private membership. Drinks are very reasonable. Incredible prime rib. Onion rings are delicious. The main point of a place like this is you can go here and not worry about anything, have a good time, be around good people while you have a good meal.
Most of the members were very wonderful to me as a visitor. The only person I have a negative comment about was an officer by the name of George Baker. Who repeatedly showed up at my home to as he put it borrow money until he got paid..... He borrowed over $200 and never repaid a dime.
My husband and I love going to this Moose. Such a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend people become members and come here.
I have served and volunteered at many lodges over the years. They have many family events and fundraisers. Holiday dances and fun get together’s. Stop by for a cocktail and make friends for a lifetime
I'm only giving it 3 stars because the food is so good. If it weren't for the food I would give it 1 star right off the bat, because the cigarette smoke is AWFUL & almost unbearable until you move around to find a clear area. I grew up with 2 smoking parents so I can even tolerate a moderate amount but its just to intense with that many people lighting up. It would not be a crime to have a designated smoking area. It would be helpful if you could move to any locale around the bar to avoid the smoke but when you go more than half of the bar is marked "this section closed" which makes it even more difficult to evade the smoke. It seems nice & the food is very good! I did notice both times the cigarette smoke is a major problem. The 2nd time I went I was recovering from a sinus infection and already had a bit of a cough and the smoke made it unbearable and horrendous. That is my only concern thus far.
Great service at the bar, a very family friendly type atmosphere, we were newbies and felt very welcomed there. The food was good too, great servers. Prices are very affordable!
