literally stood outside begging the fire station for help because i was in an emergency, they ignored me, told me to ring the doorbell, continued to ignore me for like 10 mins, then 2 firefighters came out with towels on with pants off. can’t say ive ever been treated so poorly by anyone while im crying and begging for help lol. hopefully no one goes to this station if they are ever in need of help of anything.
We had a private tour of the station today for my nephew‘s 4th birthday and these guys did not disappoint. From booking the tour to the end of the tour, the process was easy and beyond amazing. They took their time and explained everything from the historical elements to every day in the life of a firefighter. They were patient as a 4 and 6 year old explored the truck and station! They also answered all the questions the adults had. Took pictures and even gave the boys fire hats, colouring books, and a badge. We all had fun and truly appreciate the tour but most importantly what they do … keeping the community safe! Thank you, station 6!
I was stuck in the 511 Apartment Building elevator for what felt like hours, but was really probably 20 minutes thanks to how fast this crew was to get out and help. Thank you for your service. It does not go unnoticed or without appreciation.
The firefighters were so personable and kind. They truly made us feel safe in Charleston. Thank you for all you do! Also, buy a shirt to help them purchase items for the department! :
