Charlie's Family Restaurant

Great spot for breakfast. I wish I had discovered this place long time ago. This is a family owned business, the wife greets you as you enter with a welcoming smile and they are very attentive and accommodating. The restaurant is spotless and the ventilation is excellent. I went their because I was craving a Ruben sandwich and I was no disappointed. They prepare the corned beef at the restaurant and unlike most corned beef it was not very salty. I asked for a fried egg on the side forgot to take a photo and enjoyed a nice chat with the owner about the history of their business. Definitely coming back again to try more breakfast items.

I had an AMAZING experience! I felt at home and very welcomed. I had a Charlie’s skillet and I added canned corn beef hash two over easy eggs and one scrambled. Annoying I know but Christina did not make me feel that way. She was overjoyed with my creation and the order came back super fast and it was 100% to my liking!!!! Christina was so attentive and I loved it there bye bye National Coney Island. Hello Charlie’s!!!!

Amazing restaurant If you don't know exactly where it is you might have a hard time finding it. It's quite a bit bigger on the inside than the outside. The food is delicious but my loukaniko appetizer was not as good as the rest of my meal. It was overcooked to the point of being like crispy bacon and was crunchy. I know it was flamed but five seconds of flames don't do that. The wait staff were superb.

Our neighbors told us about this restaurant - that it is one of the best restaurants in the area for dinner. We always saw people waiting in line outside so we knew it would be good. We had breakfast here and it is so delicious!!! My new favorite breakfast place, beats the more popular breakfast places. The food was so flavorful. Huge portions of incredible food for a very affordable price! Will definitely be coming back to try lunch and dinner. We also met the owner and she explained it is a family owned restaurant and most of the workers are family members. The staff was very friendly!

Garden omelette and country omelette were delicious and hot when delivered. Would order again.

I've picked up from them for DoorDash and they have not been friendly. I think places forget that it is their customers who order through these platforms and they have a choice to be put on the platforms. They are always busy so their food, even though they use a microwave to warm things up. It must be good but it appears they just be putting on a false happy face.

We ordered pancakes and they came to us with a fly cooked right into the top of them. It was VERY visible as soon as we got them, I don't know how it was missed by the cook or the server. When we sent them back, they acted a bit put out, and NO ONE apologized for it! We were understanding about it happening, but you should say sorry that happened or something. Then, we had to ASK to have them removed from the bill. Other than that, food was just okay. We had to ask multiple times for things like condiments, and some were just never received. We gave up.

I feel like when it comes to breakfast food, one of the ways to really stand out from the competition is service. Re-visited Charlie’s for the first time in about 10 years, and discovered that it’s family-owned and the service is outstanding. Food is great too, good portion sizes and very flavorful. Is our new go-to for breakfast and lunch!
