Weekend to spend here bad idea.Beach and swimming water overcrowded. Some idiots are driving skobedoo right on the swimming edge. Seasonal residents don't respect other people and listen to music till 1 a.m. 8 a.m. worker mowing grass, noise and gas smell around, unbelievable! Not to mention about stalks in restrooms. Only 2 stalks for entire camp, and one of them every morning cluged.
The beach is usually kept clean from bird poop and the park is nice! The kids enjoy our days there! The bathrooms are fairly clean each visit as well and we're there often. I love that the water isn't too deep and there's minimal rocks where we walk.
Incredible place to camp, all the sites were quite nice. It had a boat launch that was fairly well maintained. The washroom and facilities were good and had nice hot showers. The beach was beautiful. What was not to like. The site we picked had tree coverage, a great flat spot for the tent, a picnic table and a nice firepit. Best thing about it was, at night you could hear the chatter of nearby campers and the laughter of kids having fun but only to a dull roar. It was a great experience and would definitely go again.
Definitely one of my favourite beaches and campsites during the week. Weekends are packed with people. Will also be packing lunches from now on. The girl at the canteen made me feel like I ruined her entire day just by being there. Other than that it's a beautiful clean beach. Playground: Two play structures for kids which is great Restrooms: Clean Picnic area: Spacious and clean
A bit crowdy in my opinion, but nature is beautiful
Loved It! Clean, well kept. Large beach area. Snack bar, canoe rentals, two descent sized playgrounds for the kids. Many trees to set up under for some shade. The walk from the parking lot to the picnic/beach area is not too far. Bathrooms were very clean at the time and day of our visit. 7$/day / adult. Kids under 12 free. All around a great spot, no complaints.
Have a good time but need the 50/50 draw back
Great place to go camping, the mosquitoes are bad this year. Check it out, you won't be disappointed except for the mosquito part.
Great for picnics. Place is clean however it is expensive to be in for short stop. $27 for a vehicle entry was little absurd however we had a good picnic.
Very nice beach and picnic area, clean bathrooms, looked like a little canteen was open next to the bathrooms, but didn't visit it, so not sure what is available for purchase. Restrooms: Clean Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly Picnic area: BBQ available I brought my own charcoal, not sure if available on site. Large gazebo near beach for 20+ people
