Providing volunteer groups with the tools they need to get the job done!
The Charlotte Community ToolBank is a massive tool lending program that serves nonprofits in our community, putting actual tools in the hands of the volunteers that are painting schools, repairing seniors’ roofs, landscaping public spaces, and more, guaranteeing that every volunteer is equipped with the tools they need to get the job done. For three pennies on the dollar, the Charlotte ToolBank provides area nonprofits with quick and easy access to large volumes of high-quality tools (i.e. ladders, rakes, saws, and more) to increase the impact of their mission-related efforts in the community.
Never again will groups have to scramble for tools or shoulder the burden of purchasing, storing and maintaining tools. Using ToolBank tools, groups can typically equip projects for less than a dollar per volunteer. And with over 100 tool types available, many of which in volumes large enough to equip more than 2,000 volunteers, the Charlotte ToolBank can outfit almost any project imaginable.
The Charlotte Community ToolBank stewards an inventory of tools for lending to charitable organizations to increase the impact of their mission-related efforts in the community.
Tools, tools and more tools! The Charlotte ToolBank maintains a diverse inventory ranging from simple safety gear, such as hard hats and safety glasses, to heavy duty equipment, such as tillers and chainsaws - and everything in between!
