Great little deli style restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxing. You can watch the small private planes take off and land while you eat. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible but tight squeeze .
Great time as usual at Charlie’s Friday Night Flights! Love bringing the family out and enjoying the atmosphere. There is even a playground for the little ones if watching the planes land and take off wasn’t enough Food was amazing as usual! The fresh baked bread takes the French Dip to another level! Great local beer selection! Service was excellent even though the patio was packed!
Cute little local lunch dive with a wonderful view of the airport. We went around 1:45, after the lunch rush, and they only had wheat bread left, which ruled out sandwiches for us. Guess we need to be earlier! Although we don't eat wheat bread, the sandwiches on the menu sounded good. Did get the tuna salad "salad" which was fresh and the tuna was deliciously prepared. Ranch dressing was quite thin. Would have liked to have a clean table to eat off of but you can see from my pics that the place was swamped with people so the waitress couldn't keep up! Did like watching the planes! Friday night on the patio, live music , great sunset, cold beer , what else could you ask for?!?!
Holy moly. The food here is horrendous. It's a cool place, but frozen, overcooked food is almost inedible. My wife had a burger with a side of the bisque. The burger was obviously frozen and then egregiously overcooked . The shrimp in the bisque were rubbery and the soup tasted of corn starch. I had a half French dip with a cup of chili. The sandwich was passable and the chili tasted like the stuff you get at Wendy's. It's too bad as it's actually a cool little place. Decidedly NOT recommended.
This is a small airport restaurant. There is limited indoor seating with extra outdoor tables that are not shaded. They have very good bread for the sandwiches. Bumbleberry pie was a fan favorite. Service was good and very friendly on a busy day. Kid-friendliness: They have a small playground but it was covered in wood bees in April.
Great little lunch spot. Always fun to take the kids and let them watch the planes take off and land. Food is good as well. A decent selection of sandwiches made with fresh bread. Nothing is going to knock your socks off but the food is solid.
Poor service. The server was very flat and two orders were wrong. They ran out of a first selection for one of us. Water didn’t taste good and soda was flat. First and last time we will visit. Seeing the planes come in was cool, but not worth the food for it.
I have to say, the service wasn’t that great. The waitress acted like we were an inconvenience. But the food was a pleasant surprise and the kids enjoyed watching the planes land and take off. Also, the photo doesn’t do the sandwich justice. It was awesome.
I hope this place stays as secret as it looked yesterday, Father's Day. The sandwiches were excellent and the waitress was cute as a bug. I'd go back just to talk with her again. Cutie. What surprised me, besides finding this place, was how quiet it is with air craft coming, going and parking. Very social place also. Can't help but talk to those around you. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids there yesterday with Dads. Even sleeping babies. Playground for the little Scamps to climb. Parking: More? Plenty of it and free. What else? Wheelchair accessibility: Someone in a wheel chair will have total access.
Such a fun and unique experience! Great sandwiches, friendly staff, and live music! It is so cool to watch the planes outside! There is a playground for kiddos too!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
