Charm City Run is a running and walking specialty company, that consists of 8 retail locations in Annapolis, Baltimore - Belvedere Square, Baltimore - Fells Point, Baltimore - Locust Point, Bel Air, Columbia, Frederick and Timonium. Our Charm City Run Baltimore - Belvedere Square location is dual concept with VITA, our lifestyle casual clothing, footwear and accessory store. Charm City Run Events manages, directs and times more than 150 sports endurance events each year.

That is what we are from the outside but from the inside we strive to be so much more. We hope that you find inspiration at Charm City Run. It may be as simple as wanting to run more in new pair of kicks. Maybe you will want to train with us for a 5K or a marathon. We want to be the bridge from your intent to making it happen. We want to be part of some of your great accomplishments and a shoulder to lean on, on some not-so-good days. Running can be an important friend and we can help you find that friend whether it be through some helpful advice, the right pair of shoes, the perfect program or the picture-perfect finish.

I am giving 5 stars because of the knowledge and customer service they give to their customers. I was a few blocks away in a big box store, when I remembered walking past Charm City Run. They took the time to measure and recommend several pairs of shoes. I had been running in a size to small and today I was in my Hoka sneakers and so comfortable. Thanks Charm City!

I had a really poor experience a couple years ago at the Columbia location. I'm happy to say that  the downtown crew 2 weeks ago was awesome. I wish I got the young ladies name. She brought out several pairs of shoes and walked me through my concerns. Very happy with the Saucony tennis I purchased.

This is my second time going to charm city run and both times were fantastic.the staff are knowledgeable about shoes and feet, and cater to your personal needs. I told them I run 10 miles a week and need a shoe with a wide toe box. I also mentioned that they double as my work shoes, I work in a hospital/laboratory setting standing on hard cement floors all day. The worker asked several follow up questions, assessed the tread and wear on my previous shoes and helped recommend some options based on this information. We landed on the Hoka Bondi shoes since they have maximum cushion for standing on hard floors, to help protect my feet and legs . I have been wearing them for a week at work and can attest that this was a great choice. I can stand in these shoes for hours and feel 100% supported. Also love the color. If you're like me, good color schemes are essential for my running shoes. Thanks so much

This place is awesome! I was immediately welcomed and helped by Catherine. She was careful in identifying the type of shoe that is best for my gait and was clear and concise in answering all of my questions. I'm super happy with my purchase and will definitely return!

I’m new to running and stopped in for running shoes. It was a little intimidating.  Catherine was lovely and spent time evaluating my needs and letting me try on and compare several brands.  I learned a lot in the process. She was knowledgeable, kind and low pressure.  The pair that would have been the sweet spot for all attributes wasn’t available in my size in the store, which meant I was leaving without a purchase.  I’m not local and shipping wasn’t the right option.  She was incredibly gracious.  I would HIGHLY recommend this store and plan to return in the future for other purchases.

Staff is very knowledgable and friendly at Charm City Run! I've needed a new pair of running shoes for weeks now, but I was a little nervous and intimidated to go into the store since I'm not the fastest or well seasoned jogger/runner. However, I couldn't have been more welcomed by the two girls working this afternoon, who answered all my questions and were super friendly. They both took the time to check out my gait to figure out what type of shoes would be best, then spent time with me while I was testing two different pairs out trying to make a decision. Highly recommend. They also had a ton of cute clothes and gear that I'll definitely be back for.

Claire was super helpful in getting me into a better fitting pair of running shoes. Definitely was given good advice and plenty of options

I love their sunglasses. Customer service is top notch. I used to go to the Light St store before it closed.

Had an excellent experience here yesterday! The staff were extremely knowledgable, friendly, and patient. I highly recommend visiting here if you are in need of new running shoes. They also have lots of nice clothes including a large clearance section!

Awesome people and excellent shoes!  They’re the BEST!!!
