Charters Hose Co #4 is one of five firehouses that protect and serve the citizens and visitors of Ansonia, Connecticut. We are a single engine company that sits on the corner of Murray Street and Day Street on the West Side of Ansonia. We are first due to the City's Highway as well as the local hospital that sits just over the town line in the City of Derby. We respond to a number of different types of calls that require a fire department response.
We are always looking for new membership to come join our ranks. If you are at least 18 years of age and ever thought about being a firefighter and live within the City of Ansonia come visit us for an application. We look forward to seeing you.
