Walked in on Friday at noon asking to open an account. A well dressed gentleman stopped playing on his phone and replied that they couldn't help me. In fact, they were very busy, he said and suggested I open my account online. After that statement he returned to playing Candy Crush. I can't wait until AI renders his job redundant.
It would be nice if they could pick up their phone. I had to call chase corporate to ask a simple question that this branch could have easily handled.
I was very excited to see a Chase bank come to Parlin. Unfortunately, tonight I had a bad experience with the ATM machine. I made a deposit then something came up on the machine screen saying we are having some trouble, and it gave me a print out of a number to call. I checked my account balance online, and my deposit didn’t go through. Then, I spent 40 min on hold just to get through to someone to tell them what happened. I’m very frustrated and aggravated that my deposit didn’t through and being on hold so long. It totally ruined my night! Avoid making deposits at this Chase ATM!
it was a regular chase bank experience, just a little more annoying than usual because the teller did not ask me if I wanted to schedule this stupid appt for something I don't want or need to do, but she insisted on it, so now I have some dumb appt. scheduled that I'm not gonna go to, so that woman just wasted everybody's time.
Was treated very inappropriately by a teller named Prital and other bank employees at this branch in Parlin NJ. Since she refused to assist me as requested several times and even proceeded to interfere with personal family discussions at the location, I asked for the manager and was approached by an unidentified employee. I repeatedly requested to speak with a manager and he refused, choosing instead to verbally demand I leave the bank in an inappropriate tone and body language. I hold an account at chase and have never experienced such unprofessional behavior. It is a shame this branch handled the situation in such a poor manner as it reflects badly on the Chase bank brand and values.
The Chase Branch with friendliest professional staff. They make each customer high priority. Their manager, I cannot remember his name, and three charming ladies: Lochana, Prital and Usha became like our family. Best wishes to all of them in New 2022.
My mom stopped into the Parlin, NJ branch of Chase to set up some new accounts because she was moving out of state and wanted a bank that had branches both in NJ and the state to which she was moving. An employee in charge of handling this attempted to help my mom set up an account that listed me and my husband as joint owners and beneficiaries, as per my mother's request. We later found out this wasn't possible; that we needed to be listed as one or the other, but she never informed my mom of this, taking it upon herself to just set us up as beneficiaries, which my Mom didn't want - had it been explained to her that she had to choose, my mother would have chosen joint ownership. The employee then told my mother we could go into our local branch in the state in which we live to complete the process of being added to the account as joint owners. Because she did not know what she was doing, it took us three and a half hours and three separate trips to our bank to untangle this mess, and we still couldn't complete what my Mom wanted until Mom moved down to our town and accompanied us to the bank. This woman allegedly has eighteen years of experience and this is how she does her job? So happy Mom is now out of NJ and dealing with a branch of Chase that actually has competent employees.
I liked the inside decorations. Then when I started dealing with the stuff it was little different. Doesn't care attitude. My 10 year old had to use the restroom for quickies. Saw restrooms at the back but they said no restroom for public; go to shoprite. We are not public, we are valued customers. Helloooo. So I had take them to shoprite. Never faced this kind of reception on any other Chase branches so far. Chase customer for many years.
I was trying to track down a Chase banker who helped me many times in Hazlet but was recently transferred to Sayreville. I called that branch and was told by Tom there was nobody there by that name. It could have ended there, like it did with the last branch I called, but Tom went out of his way to search for Joseph H. I didn't even have the correct spelling of his last name. Tom found him, in Shrewsbury, and gave me his direct number. Great experience, thanks so much!
9 times out of 10 the the ATM won’t receive deposits or give out cash. Chase has to do a better job taking care of the machines
