"The Chaska Community Center has a pool, ice arena, theater, walking track, two gyms, fitness areas, and rooms that can be rented for events, birthday parties, meetings or bigger gatherings. There are plenty of activities and programs that run throughout the year.Memberships are required to access some parts of the building.The Community Center also includes The Lodge, which caters to the active older adult population ages 55 and older. Chaska residents who are 55 or older can access The Lodge for free.The Community Center is a City of Chaska Parks and Recreation Department facility."

It’s a nice small theater good for recital performances. Sound system was good and clear. Seating inclined towards the stage was wonderful and get a good experience to audience. Lighting and backdrop was flexible and dark ambience.

It’s a beautiful place to host yr event and visit. Plenty of space and a super view around with a kids playground!
Pretty nice pool, good open skate during the winter as there's a lot of days they have open skate and very friendly and helpful staff, but rated 4 stars because they don't provide towels and you have to bring your own lock for the lockers. Also, wish they had more hours of childcare.

I’m not from MN so watching the little kiddos skating better than I ever will was very impressive. Biggest community center I’ve seen
Great place to get back in shape. So many classes and a great pool.
Nice place, I went there for a class, And then walked around the track. The track is free, They charge to use the exercise equipment downstairs and for the pool
This was a very unpleasant experience. To start off, when you get down to the pool locker rooms where horribly dirty. Mud and toilet paper ever where all over the wet floors. When you finally get into the pool you have young life guards who scream at children the whole they stand there. Over the silliest of things. They will tell you to watch your kids better even if you are 2 feet away from them. They get whistle happy and will scream at your 2 year old if he splashes. Also we ended up leaving early because there was fecal matter in the pool. We will not be returning. Such a waste of 45 bucks for FOUR people and to only be there for less then an hour. Take my advice and use your money else where!
Used for years, now our family is out of area, but once an a while kids want to visit, our last visit on saturday was very good, until a few families showed up and kids started jumping in the pool fully clothed, in t-shirts, leggings, jeans so on, so we didn't feel comfortable swimming in the big pile of germs. Nobody seems to care about, plenty of lifeguards sleeping and we just waisted time. Hope the place comes back to the standard.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoy this facility after getting sick of Lifetime's unreasonable rates. We especially love the track and the sauna for our health needs. It's fun to attend a family facility where we can see the kids running around having fun. The staff is always friendly, the decor is colorful and lively; we love the special holiday touches that make it a welcoming place. We think the design is very well-thought out and user friendly, from the senior center to the daycare, the pool, work out areas and skating rinks.
