Chatham Hospital

I love them always clean fast courteous respectful helpful kind ur in and out quickly bit thoroughly taken care of in most kind caring professional way.highly recommended.

After just shy of 10 hours in the waiting room, we took my daughter home. She was in pain and on the verge of vomiting. If she was going to be hurting, she might as well be comfortable at home. What few staff we had contact with were polite and tried to be helpful. We were told she was next in line, then told there was one in front of her. Then told she was next in line again, then once again told there was one more ahead of her. Guess it’s true what they say….if you want to seen faster, come in by ambulance.

I know coming from a small town that people are hesitant to go to local hospitals thinking bigger is better. BUT, when my husband got sick and we went to the ED they did everything to get him stable that we would have had to wait for at a larger hospital. He was admitted and between the ED and ICU at Chatham, I could not have asked for any better care. All the doctors were willing to spend time being sure we understood what was needed. My husband needs a Lung transplant and they communicated with his team at UNC-Chapel Hill so that everyone was on the same page. Nurses were family when he was dismissed. They were GREAT! I support our little hospital completely. They are wonderful!

Waited over 8 hours before I was even seen by the doctor and when she did finally come in, she talked for just a few minutes before abruptly leaving the room to answer a call before she finished talking to me. Security lady exposed the price of my Pizza Hut order to the whole back of the hospital. Her statement was “you got $32.00for a pizza”?in a loud tone. Worst hospital to go to if it’s an emergency and your in a hurry.

Went there for abdominal pain. Sat in the ER waiting room for four hours watching as people who were less worse off than me got seen and I was left to twiddle my thumbs. When I spoke to another man who said he'd been waiting for 7 hours, I decided it was time to go. Luckily pain subsided but I'm still getting checked by my primary doctor. Don't come here if you have a serious emergency.

This place is awful. The Hispanic ambulance driver who picked up my mom after having stroke was extremely rude and didn’t know what she was doing. Never call the ambulance or got to Chatham hospital. God awful place

I was in emergency room and staff did a wonderful job! Staff was very friendly and always smiled! Hospital was very clean! They were very fast treating me! I am feeling better.

I love this hospital they are so nice and friendly seem to really care and Dr.Kathard really listen and seem to care thank you all for being so caring God Bless

I suffer from several chronic illnesses and yesterday my primary care doctor sent me over to this hospital to get a CT scan & some lab work done. My veins are horrible for getting blood, and my primary doctor had already tried earlier that day with no luck. The two ladies who took my blood, one was named Michelle and I unfortunately cannot remember the other ladies name were so sweet and kind. They were very gentle and they were able to get my blood quicker than anyone ever has and it was practically painless. Usually I have a bad reaction to getting stuck and my arms swell up but they didn’t at all. I really appreciated them holding my hand through it because I was having a horrible day and I felt like I just couldn’t deal with my health problems anymore and they made a huge difference. The woman who took me back for my CT scan was also incredibly kind, and helped me not be nervous. Being sick is already tough, but being treated badly by healthcare workers in the past has made me have even more anxiety about hospitals and when I found out I was gonna have to go to the hospital yesterday I felt sick to my stomach with anxiety. But the staff here truly made such a difference. I will be coming back here for any of my future needs. The experience I had should be a case study in how healthcare should always be in this country. Everyone did such a great job and I will never forget their kindness.

This place is the worst , i don't care what type of pain you in go elsewhere they make you wait for hours & hours & hours before even being seen I honestly think they do it on purpose to see if your gonna leave , I hate it here I will be going elsewhere from now on out please save yourself some time & go somewhere else PLEASE!!!!!!
