Drivers are inconsiderate at loading and unloading zones… they block and park in these areas not allowing other patients that need assistance or wheelchair be dropped by the door. The drivers just sit there on their phones an ignoring the people trying to make it to their dialysis time. There is a sign in the area that says “loading/unloading ONLY”. I guess the company trains their employees to be inconsiderate and ignore signs. Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!
They don't provide times for their "schedule", so it makes it impossible to schedule things when using them. The only time I have been able to ride with them I was told I would be picked up over an hour earlier than what I put for on the request form, so I changed my work schedule to reflect that I would be coming in an hour early, when they were 16 minutes late I called to see what's up and I was apparently scheduled to be picked up only 30 minutes early from what I scheduled, with the way the buses work that meant that I would be coming in close to my original time for work. The worst part is when I tried to schedule for Monday I followed the requirements that's placed RIGHT ABOVE the ride request form that they obviously check daily and it was rejected. I put the request in around 8:30 am and was told they had their Monday rides schedule already done even though it says noon and I can't be added to the list. This was enough time make changes especially since my destination is less than 5 miles away. I emailed them to ask why they weren't following their own rules, that was apparently ignored so I called them and was told that the website hadn't been updated. Again the rules are IMMEDIATELY ABOVE the form that they check DAILY. This is absolutely ridiculous. First, you should honor your own rules. Secondly, you should update your website.
I'm not to pleased with this transit. I had a hard time finding this place of business. Google map doesn't have accurate location. It's not Google fault, Chatham transit address does not show up for right location. It took me 30 extra minutes to find this location. I scheduled for pickup this morning for a 9:15 a.m. pickup. Chatham transit called me around 8:10 saying the driver would be here in 10 mins. I volunteer at Cora in Pittsboro, NC. Cora do not open till 10 a.m. So to be picked up almost 40 min earlier is not acceptable. The lady stated that it was the only bus going this way at that time. I'm not on their time, they are not organized at all. In other words it's their way or no way. I cancelled because I refuse to stand out in the rain.
