Saving the Charm that's Chatham / Pulver Farm
The historical society established in 1994 to save the Union Bank, the present Kinderhook Bank in Chatham.
Originally founded to save and restore the Boston & Albany train depot, now the Chatham Branch of the Kinderhook Bank, the historical society promotes the railroad and community history of Chatham village.
Walking tours, horse-drawn wagon tours, educational programs, and publications support that goal.
To promote understanding of Chatham Village history and heritage; to promote the preservation of Chatham Village historic art, documents, railroad memorabilia, artifacts, and architecture; to collect and maintain a library of books, maps, photographs, and manuscripts about the village; to maintain structures that are of historic interest or architectural significance to Chatham Village history as a museum open to the public.
