There has been much turn over through my time here. Most doctors are fine but they don't stay. They have a lot of work to do on patient support and follow through as well.
Ultrasound tech was extremely rude, should not be working with people. I forgot her name but she was a tall blonde lady, had an accent, I think Russian. She aggressively pulled my pants down cuz I wasn’t going fast enough for her liking. Took one photo of the baby, didn’t let us hear the heartbeat. She just seemed like she was in a huge rush the whole time. Very uncomfortable situation. Will not be returning.
Everyone super nice , clean, sat in waiting room no longer than 5 minutes. Everyone professional. Definitely recommend
Dr. Maria Flores is a wonderful doctor. She is very caring and takes time to answer your questions. She is very knowledgeable and you know you are in good hands. She has been my doctor for many years.
I picked CHC after moving from Ventura County to address my medical needs. This was a mistake on my part as I figured since there is so many offices the convenience sold me. CHC is not organized and your just a number. I started seeing an OBGYN in SLO who towards the end of my pregnancy just decided she was leaving CHC never even gave her patients notice which I found to be unprofessional as I’m a first time mom and built rapport with this doctor. The way I was handled was not what I call good medical care. I’m fully aware that a lot of these doctors are not at fault but rather it is the company of CHC who is causing doctors to take on more patients than they should. I’m super disappointed in CHC and do not plan to return ever. I recently left and will finish the end of my pregnancy at 7 months with a different provider. I feel sorry to all the moms having to deal with CHC or patients in general!
CHC gave off a negative vibe from the first time I went in. The Prenatal office is unorganized, uncommunicative, difficult to get ahold of, insensitive to your time needs, and makes you feel more like a number than a mother about to give birth. My very first office visit consisted of waiting for over an hour to be seen, the visit was rushed, ended up lasting about 5 minutes with the actual Dr., and although the Dr. had my "chart" notes in her hand, she insisted that she needed additional time to review them so we could talk at our "next" visit. I walked away from my first visit feeling that I just wasted 2 hours of my life- and I felt as though the Dr. hadn't done her job; as she had the records she needed to review with me right there in her hand and prior to our visit. When I called to mention my concerns about this initial visit the next day, I was made to feel bad for how I felt: and somehow guilty for my uncomfortable feelings. Another example of this office's negligence was that when I was placed on Maternity leave, the Dr. I thought to be my "primary" Dr. was out of the office for a week. I continued to work throughout this time, and once I could get ahold of her, she got angry that I did not take the Maternity leave, stating that there were "multiple other doctors" in the office which could have provided this paperwork to my employer. I was unnotified of this, unaware, and clueless as to who to go to regarding this information: and in turn, it was made out to be my fault resulting in a comment added to my chart that I was a "noncompliant" with treatment. The doctors wrote negative comments on my chart which were inapplicable, my private, personal information felt unprotected & spread throughout the office, rescheduling appointments was a nightmare, there was no communication amongst staff regarding when they talked to you, who talked to you, and what the conversation was about, I was on hold literally for over an hour waiting for a reschedule, I was not notified of my test results until I made the call to ask for them, you're set to meet multiple doctors around the office and every one of them now knows your personal, private information, and the staff that is training is unprofessional and makes you feel uncomfortable. In one office visit, I had over 6 people enter the room during their "training" while I was laying on the table, half-clothed. I would not recommend this office to anyone and I suggest the staff at the front desk get additional training in professionalism and training in the protection of consumer private information. I also suggest that the doctors do not mention that they have "hundreds of other pregnant patients" other than you, and take into consideration that each and every pregnancy is special, and should be treated as such. This is definitely a Health Center for the "public", and treats you as such instead of an important member of the community.
The DR’s may be good, but the entire office staff is horrendous. Not one of them has an ounce of empathy or compassion. I can’t wait to transfer!!
Today, as in all my appointments, I preceded myself and they gave me papers to fill out, there are 2 offices, one to register and another for the appointment, I registered and they sent me to the other office for the appointment and I sat down and filled out the papers, there was one that I did not understand and I asked for help and they sent me to the other registry office and I told them they sent me and they did not want to help me and a receptionist told me that there are no more people we are short of personall and they already helped me and I returned to the office of the appointment and went to the Appointment and I waited for almost an hour lying on the bed Dr. BOBA arrived I don't know how to write, angry she began to scold me that because I said no, they would help me, if they didn't have a lot of staff that if I didn't like it for me to go to another place They were short of staff. I felt very bad that I did not know why I stayed and I answered, I wanted it was a question and they did not answer it and they sent me to the other office and we argued, but that doctor had the queen at home and now I did not know what to do and the translator who will help You translated for me and told her not to repeat her I thought she did not understand what she was saying and I was very upset with her bad attitude I just wanted to get out and never come back stop that she gives away her work I do not recommend that doctor thinks that everyone can scold hopefully a day someone else gives it to him and does not leave like me
Dr Kunhardt ,at women's health , is amazing ! He's thorough, listens , has great bedside manner and genuinely cares about his patients .
Waited over an hour for my appointment and when I told the receptionist how much longer it will be, she told me it would be about another 20 minutes.
