We will be choosing the best short films and fashion designs in the year 2014. Accepted films & designs will be screened, showcased, and promoted in Chelsea, Manhattan New York City. All genres of short film or playlets accepted. Max length accepted: 20 min. Q&A with filmmakers after each screening. Network with human rights groups, film, and acting professionals from all over the world. The festival attendees will award the best short film of 2014 at the event. A 21 and over event, Thursday Nov 20, from 6pm - 2am.
Featuring NY Times reviewed director Eric Chaney, whos short film "Shelter to Sunlight" won best 'Best Short Film' at the Rainer Independent Film Festival. Eric Chaney's work has been acclaimed by Todd Komarnicki (Elf), Fred Zollo (Quiz Show, Mississippi Burning), and Daryl Freimark (Hairspray). The Cinema Couch will be interviewing film makers, directors, actors, and producers about their films and experience.
