They are excellent at cleansing your hair but not as good when blow drying hair. I was disappointed because it looked like something I’m able to do myself and not pay $55 for. Customer service was good but the skill is not there. This is my third time going to the same location with three different stylist and I have had the same outcome. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but they have not met up to my expectation which are set very low.

I’ve been coming to this blow bar for about a month because of the convenience of its location to my new home. I used to go to the Charlotte location for more than a year, which feels like another brand way better honestly. I’ve been to this place 3 times already. On one occasion they made me wait almost an hour after my appointment and they charged me a blow on my birthday, which was supposedly free as part of the membership. One other time they first almost burned my hair and then they gave me such a hard time and made me feel so embarrassed that the only thing I wanted was to never return there. Won't go into details now but I’ve never been so insulted in my lifeServices:&nbsp;Hairstyling

I come here specifically for Josie. She is amazing at doing hair!!! She is always a pleasure to be with her energy and attitude are always great. Don’t think twice and book with her today !

I have to say that Elizabeth did a great job. That picture was taken when I came back from dinner with my husband at 10pm tonight. I went for the first time to this blow dry bar on a super rainy day. I was hesitant and almost rescheduled my appointment because the weather was so bad today and Merrick park is an outdoor mall. So anyways I decided to go ahead with my appointment since we had dinner reservations in a restaurant and wanted to look pretty on date night. Went to my appointment almost half an hour earlier and they where able to accommodate me right away. My stylist was Elizabeth. She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions. She was very detailed and did a great job. I was out of there in less than an hour which was awesome. Walked to my car with the bad weather and went to dinner and my hair is still looking great. Normally my hair is frizzy when theres a lot of humidity but its been great. I know right away if my hair is gonna hold or not and if Im going back to a stylist or not. I knew my hair came out great and that was gonna hold. She even told me that it will look even better tomorrow and I agree. I hate when I go to do my hair and it doesn’t hold the waves for more than 2 hours. This was not the case and Im definitely requesting Elizabeth again. They have a new happy customer:

I had a great experience at Blo in Merrick Park. I am a regular Blo customer in Atlanta but was in town for my wedding. They did an amazing job with my hair, the blowout was beautiful and I stayed frizz-free in Miami at my outdoor wedding. Also when I was there, there was a super difficult client causing salon disruption and actually caused other people with appointments to not be able to get their hair done because she would not leave and kept making them re-do her style. She was extremely rude and the entire staff handled the situation so professionally. They kept their cool and even though this woman was clearly deranged, they were never unkind towards her and just tried to make her happy. The owner of this location should be VERY proud of their staff.

I went in for a quick set of lashes and it was such a fun experience. From the stylist who attended me to the girls in the front desk. Super friendly and fast! I'll definitely be coming back and recommending everyone!

UPDATE APRIL 2022: I made an appointment for my 8 yr old niece and noted her hair type on the appointment because she needs specialized service. I called and spoke to the booker who told me she’d placed her with the perfect stylist. On the day of the appointment we were greeted kindly and my niece had an amazing experience getting a blowout and gorgeous braids. I joined as a member and although everyone was great, props to Joan and Nadia. NOV. 2021 3stars I was placed with a stylist that i didn't share a language with. there was obviously no training in how to deal with a situation like that: ask another employee to translate, use a look book, etc. I explained what i wanted and she let me know she didn't speak english so i didn't get what i wanted. this is not her or my fault, the business should set their staff up for success not failure.
