Dr Kenneth Cherry was the surgeon for my "1st right knee replacement". For 18 long months I could only bend it less then 2 inches . Dr Cherry said it was because I suffer from depression. The pain was unbearable. According to Dr Cherry , my xrays were "normal". Finally after a year and a half of suffering I went to Dr Gregory Habib in Greensburg. Dr Habib took the same exact sets of xrays at my very 1st appointment as Dr Cherry & saw that not only was my implant inserted incorrectly but when he held my leg out straight my it came through the back of my leg. When Dr Habib replaced the implant put in by Dr Cherry he also had to insert screws where Dr Cherry removed too much bone & a rod in my calf to stabilize my leg due to Dr Cherry's incompetence. I have never had an issue with the knee put in by Dr Habib. He also replaced my left knee & I have never had a problem with it either , in fact the recovery from my left knee surgery was swift . But my right knee took a long time due to the damage caused by Dr Cherry. If only he had admitted he made an error & would have fixed it I could have accepted that. But Dr Cherry not only caused me to suffer needlessly, he was rude & insulting in the process. It was a very excrutiatingly upsetting ordeal.
