The original restaurant at our location was Harry's Diner. It then changed to The Cherry Pit Cafe. Chef Carmen Vargas, Cook Albertico Banuelos, and Server Fredy Flores began working at The Cherry Pit Cafe in 1992. The restaurant then changed to new ownership and became Kevin's Place where the staff continued to work at. Now the original staff (Carmen, Tico, and Fredy) have gotten together and re-opened the Cherry Pit Cafe to bring back that 90's flair and keep the restaurant as a classic American diner.
Cherry Pit Cafe is a Deerfield staple. The staff has been here for almost 3 decades and it's a privilege to be back. The was restaurant if often referred to the "Cheers" of Deerfield. It is a very family oriented place and we can not wait to serve you!
