We had a great weekend here. The indoor swimming pool is great for young kids. The service was top notch. We had to make a last minute change to our booking and Kayla was very accommodating. The hotel layout/stairs can be a little difficult to navigate with a stroller, but Nadine went above and beyond and took the time to help us out.Rooms: 4/5
We were VERY disappointed to arrive and get checked in, then go to the pool area, just to find that the hot tub was inoperable and looked horrific! We had even asked before even booking the room, SPECIFICALLY if the pool and hot tub were up and running, and were told YES!!! If you’re a non-smoker, you’re gonna smell the old smoky residuals as soon as you enter the room hallways…. The rooms themselves are the same. They clearly put some effort into trying to COVER the old residues and smells, but total remediation is really the only way to truly get rid of that kinda thing! We came here specifically because we were looking forward to the hot tub experience after an 8hr drive….never again for this place. Don’t waste your time or money. Don’t lie to your potential customers. The damage you do on the backend will be far worse! In contrast to that, I will add that the dining experience was MUCH better and Dylan was an awesome server! Great music and ambiance in the restaurant.
Service was good by all of the staff while there, other than one person. Our key card did not work on door C & the maid staff said thevteader was broken. We saw a male employee who looked like a maintenance person while leaving exit C & asked if the venue could fix it & he was kind of nasty when he said the C rear entrance was for employees only. Based on his tone & demeanor I felt like apologizing for asking him. Not a friendly person like everyone else. Also, under post service, I left my phone charger in room 229 & called 2 days in a row & was told to leave a message on the lost & found line. I told the front desk I would pay for the shipping. I know I left it there. I left 2 voicemail message & they never called back. On day 3.... I called & the person at the front desk said she would orally pass the information on to the cleaning manager. I asked if they would call me back even if they did not find it. No call ever came so I gave up. Other than that, very nice place.
I very highly recommend Cherry Valley Hotel. It is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The room, especially the bed, was very comfortable. I loved the view of the garden and pond from my private balcony. The service was great. The pool was nice. We enjoyed the attached Homestead Public House - the food and service there was great as well. Rooms: Very comfortable. Food & drinks: We enjoyed the Homestead.
I've stayed here twice now for work trips and I have no complaints. The gardens and courtyards are beautiful and are great spots to enjoy some relaxing time outdoors. The main courtyard is one of my favorite places in the hotel. They have both the CK Pub and the Craftsmans restaurant serving great food, much better than I was frankly expecting for the location we're talking high quality filet mignon, seafood, and pastas. The gym is small but they have a good amount of equipment to get a nice workout in. Overall, its a cute little spot and I'd recommend checking it out if you're in the area!
Eric and his team helped tremendously in planning our corporate event and making it a success. We were also impressed with the restaurant and bar staff. Very accommodating with a gorgeous courtyard. Thank you!
5 star service and grounds are beautiful. Some work still needs to be done to fully upgrade the rooms and carpet. And every time I come here the hot tub isn't working. Otherwise still one of Ohio's best places to hold an event.Rooms: 4/5
I attended a dinner event that had 30 tables seating 8 at each table. What a great night! Service and food was above and beyond and the venue was clean and welcoming! All a winning combination, thank you. All of the best, PennyService: 5/5
We had the most relaxing time here. We checked in at 3pm on Saturday with 6:30 dinner reservations, I took 2 naps in between; the bed was so comfortable! Dinner was fantastic! Chef Craig is creative and brings all the flavor to you in his dishes. In the morning we had the breakfast buffet, checked out and relaxed on the patio before bidding farewell to this amazing and comfortable independent hotel. Well done, Cherry Valley Hotel!
The staff was very friendly. The rooms were excellent and in immaculate condition. I will be returning Many Blessings to you all!Rooms: 5/5
