Chesterfield County Library
"Chester Library is at the heart of one of the most historic areas of Chesterfield County. Situated beside the Chester Village Green, its brick turret and facade reflect the area’s colonial beginnings while its warm interior with a charming train motif evokes the role of railroads in Chester’s growth. The library features CCPL's largest collection about the arts, and its music and creative arts and crafts programs are popular. The Chesterfield Center for the Arts is located adjacent to the library building, a multi-faceted venue for visual and performing arts, literature and creativity within a walkable neighborhood of shops, restaurants, and local businesses."

What a nice library this is. Lot’s for the children to read. It’s a very relaxing environment and sweet people.
Very nice library with helpful staff. It's a really beautiful outside area and quiet so it's nice to sit and read a book while listening to music. Helpful librarians and well kept building.
I've been coming here off and on since I moved here years ago. It's a nice library. I like their selection of books and they have come in handy when I didn't have a printer. Local libraries are the best and are great resources for the community.
My experience at the Chester Library was great. Lots of great literature and internet access at my finger tips. The library staff at the Chester Library are very friendly, and always willing to help you if needed. I would highly recommend the Chester Library to anyone looking for a place to study, from high school level and even college students if inquiring for a safe, piece of mind type of environment. Go check it out!
Update: they have finished reorganizing the books, which is great. They alsk often have puzzles like sudoku, falling letters, and logic puzzles. I love this, although today they only had 2 puzzles available. Wish wish wish there were a drive through drop off box for library books, like one of the old post office blue boxes. End of Update. People very helpful, good selection of books, and I love that they support local charities. Aisle are pretty close together now.
Love this library! I've been there a few times by myself since COVID, but finally took my toddler back and she was a happy camper surrounded by books! Our checkout lady was very friendly too. We've always had positive experiences there.
This is my favorite library in Chesterfield. They have an amazing kid section. Mr. Joe put on the BEST baby time classes! He is a must see. Thank you!!
Great location, librarians, and have Fabulous Books, Movies, Games you can play there and Library events too!
I really enjoy coming to this library. I can’t say I spend a lot of time here but I do pick up books and see the people there. I’ve had some front staff be a little rude but others are awesome! I love when they comment on your selection and even recommend something else you might like. The place is fairly clean and I always get my books transferred in a timely fashion.
I really like the Chester library!!! Clean, well-maintained, and in a great location for me! Danielle was super helpful!!! Very knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and patiently answered all my questions I'm a new Chester resident and was getting a library card. I'll definitely be using this library in the future!
