Since June 18, 1971 the Chesterfield Fire Rescue (Station 76) has provided fire and rescue services to the Chesterfield Community outside Morganton, NC.

The Chesterfield Fire Rescue is owned by the taxpayers of the Chesterfield Fire Protection District and managed by the Board of Directors of the Chesterfield Fire Protection Association
