Amazing dental practice! My 10 year old had so much anxiety about going to the dentist. They completely put her at ease and she cooperated for the entire check up and cleaning. She previously refused to sit in a chair and open her mouth at other dentists. Even the receptionist was super nice.
Absolutely he is the best dentist in New Jersey. I love how he explain everything to the kids and the parents in a very very nice way my little daughter she has to do some filling and after he talk to her, she wasn’t even scared and she didn’t cry. Even She was explaining to her friends at school how easy to do filling
Dr. Eli was incredible with our 3 year old son. Our son struggles with sensory issues, but was totally calm for Dr. Eli. He sat with him and explained all of his tools to our son to make him feel included and comfortable throughout the whole visit. He didn’t cry at all and even sat in the dental chair the whole visit! This was a HUGE win! Dr. Eli then took his time to explain my son’s assessment to me. He was completely thorough - beyond impressed! We have previously been to another local pediatric dentist who strongly pushed me to proceed with a frenectomy for my son- I refused until my son saw a new dentist Dr. Eli. Sure enough, Dr. Eli did not think it was necessary. Incredible! The office is also beautiful and super clean. Lastly his staff is very friendly and great with children! We are so happy to have found Dr. Eli!
Dr. Rachlin explains everything in detail before working on my son's teeth. He is friendly, knowledgable and only does what is necessary to not over due it. It's also nice that he is super fast as to not let the kids get restless. We've been going to him for years and is the best! I recommended him to a few friends as well who go to him.
Have never written a review for a doctor before, but I feel the experience we had today for my daughter’s first dental exam was beyond my expectations. Dr. Eli was fantastic in his approach to introducing the dental exam experience to my 2.5yr old. He spent the first 15 minutes of the exam explaining what he would do, the different tools he would use and generally making my daughter at ease. He even let her hold the tools and experience them before he used them! It was amazing for her and how he took her nervousness away and put her at ease was so amazing. The exam was fun for her and she did fantastic! All due to his amazing ability to connect with her on a level she could understand and appreciate. Equally impressive was his genuine interest in her well being and ability to educate me on children’s dental health and ENT topics. He took his time and was not rushing us out the door. Overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this practice.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Eli and his staff. I wouldn't go anywhere else. My youngest has autism and he's phenomenal with her. The office is very sensory friendly as well. We just love them!
Dr Eli was amazing with our 5 year old! Can’t thank him enough. Office was so nice and the game projector in the lobby was also a hit!

Dr. Eli and his staff are a top notch team. My 4 children have been coming to his practice for over 8 years. I regard his work so much we have since moved to Arizona yet we still book appointments with him on our return trips back to the area. Dr. Eli is professional while be kind and thorough. From the time my children were young he would speak to them and explain ever tool and step before would start his work. We never felt rushed and he always made sure my children were comfortable with whatever work needed to he done. He always gave wonderful advice while thinking ahead if a growing mouth and what the long term outcome would look like. Debbie keeps his office running like a well oiled machine. She makes sure that patients are not stacked and never feel rushed. She also works with my schedule and makes sure all 4 children can be seen in one day so I do not need return trips. Time is allotted for any additional services knowing we might not be back in the area for a few months. She is kind and friendly and a wonderful presence to have in the front office. The dental hygienist is gentle and always kind yet very thorough. My children have never be hesitant to sit down and get a cleaning. The office of Chestnut Ridge Pediatric Dental is 100% geared towards children and taking their mind off any anxiety that maybe lurking around going to a dentist. His office is CLEAN and modern and very clean, yes, I'll say it twice. I know this review is a bit wordy, but honestly, I am a mother for over 25 years, I have been through numerous offices for all types of Doctors. This is by far one of the top doctors offices I've been to over the years, it is 100% because of Debbie and Dr Eli.
We just moved to the area and I was so impressed with this practice. Dr Eli was calm and friendly with both my kids. He explained everything to both them and us. Showed them all the equipment first and really put them at ease. He was very thorough, and did not push any unnecessary treatment. The office is brand new and completely tailored to children - bright inviting spaces and TV in every room. Would highly recommend!
