some TMI.. but when i was 16, i had severe depression and anxiety, which was diagnosed by a physichatrist at the latrobe hospital while doing impatient care. after getting out of a 2 week stay in impatient care, i returned to my family doctor jakubek who said he didn't "believe in mental disorders" and said i was "just a spoiled kid". i am 25 years old, and have gone through many years of trauma therapy, and am a healthy adult now. however, at the time i was under jakubek's care, i did not receive proper medication or therapy referrals and suffered from mental health problems for a long time. i would highly NOT recommened.
Terrible. They seem to push the drug samples hard. Leave your political opinions out of the doctor's office. So unprofessional. Referral took weeks, and I wasn't even referred to the correct type of specialist.
I have been a patient here for over 20 years. Great staff and wonderful doctors.
