Our favorite park to Walk to in the summer and when the weather is nice. Nice playground for kids. Has a gazebo and a large walking path. Great to walk dogs and have fun with family. Also has a few picnic tables and benches to relax and take in the views of the mountains. Playground: Wonderful updated playground and picnic tables. Dog-friendliness: Great place to Walk your dogs. Picnic area: Has a few picnic tables under the gazebo as well as outside the gazebo.
Usually, when we go to larger parks, our daughter gets run over by big kids. This park is small, clean, spacious, and she still gets to meet new friends. Plus, we’re able to enjoy it!
Perfect place for everyone. Baseball area on the far left side. There is a large picnic area great for parties. I love taking my dog here or biking around the park with the kids. There is a large open field where my kids played undisturbed. Along the sidewalk, there are a few intact benches. A couple of homeless people slept around the edges under the trees, but that's to be expected. The park itself is in good condition and has loads of equipment. There is one water fountain, but I recommend bringing a water bottle. Whenever I have been there, the grass is well kept.
This was a superb park to spend the day with family who was visiting from out of state. It was close to places we could get lunch for everyone, close to a King Soopers where we headed when the kiddos needed to use the restroom.People at the park were friendly and the park was pet friendly. The playground was up to date, safe, and fun to explore with the kiddos. My only suggestion would be to go during the morning or evening if you have kids that will want to play in the playground because the heat is ridiculous during the hottest part of the day because there isn’t shade for the playground. There is nearby shade though that us adults who sunburn easily quickly found. As far as we could see there were no restrooms. The round paved walking path was perfect for the kids to ride scooters around on & the adults could see them as they got adventurous and rode their scooters around the circular walkway. I definitely advise staying in the shade as much as possible and bringing sunscreen. The people with dogs were responsible owners and they kept their dog under control and picked up their dog poop. The picnic area has a couple picnic tables—enough for our large group to take up two tables and there still was a table left for another group.
My family of four enjoyed running on the green grass. Some cool trails for biking. Playground area for the kids has a variety of obstacles. Designated sports and rec areas include basketball and a horse shoe pit. We will definitley be making this a regular spot to hang out.
Great locatin for practically anything. Huge field, playground for the kids, and picnic area. Its great location hounestly. Very friendly neighborhood people you could meet. You could go for a run, walk your dog or just sit and relax. Ive been going to this park for weeks now. Even at night, no homeless people just wondering.
This park is nice and open. A good place to take children to run and play with your dogs, also connected to a dog park. The playground itself is pretty small. Most of the equipment requires two children and it's not for the small toddler size.
This park is lovely. Great for kids 3 to 12. It has one slide, two swings, two teeter-totters, zip line, mini climb wall, monkey bars, two dizzy spinners, and a balance structure. It has wood chips which I like better than pea gravel. There is a drinking fountain and a large gazebo with 2 picnic tables and a barbecue pit. There is also horshoe pits, a large open field, basketball court, and dog walk. It is a really nice park. Only minor drawback is there is no restroom. But there is a shopping center nearby you could use. I take my kids there a couple times a week and we love it.
Last several times I've been here there has been water sitting in the playground mulch. Its gross. Also this park has no little kids swings. The seesaw is placed at adult level so kids can't even teeder todder without an adult to assist. Otherwise I'm glad there is a park here. Its got some nice attributes; nice jungle gym, great sidewalk art, beautiful field to play in and walk around! Covered picnic tables and horseshoe area is nice!
Great park. Play equipment for the kids. Cool little signs along walk path to encourage you to interact with your children. Playground: Tiny climbing wall and several other things. Looked nice. Dog-friendliness: I saw two other people walking dogs.
