Headed by Shihan Brian C. Smith, Rokudan, a veteran and former captain of the Chicago Heights Police Department who holds the titles of Shichidan (7th degree black belt) Goshin Jutsu, Hachidan (8rd degree black belt) Hakko Denshin Ryu Ju-jitsu, and Shodan (1st degree black belt) Judo. Our assistant instructor is Mark Hale Godan (5th degree Black belt), Goshin Jutsu. Our academy has adopted the term "Goshin-Jutsu" for the title of our martial art which encompasses the martial arts disciplines of Hakko Ryu and Juko Ryu Aiki Inyo.
