One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was using Chicago Sweet Connections for our desserts and wedding cake. People cannot stop raving about our sweet table and my wedding cake was beyond perfection and also the best tasting wedding cake! Nothing compares to their desserts and talent designing cakes!
The tres leches cake from this bakery is heaven on a plate. Each bite is a moist and decadent experience. It`s an absolute must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth - I can`t get enough of it!
Expired cakes got me food poisoning Talking to their manager and he is telling me its ok to eat expired same as u drink expired milk ! This is so funny of a manager he don’t even know how to explain his business mistakes Have to spent the night in a hospital
The second you open the door, the smell of baked goods is very intoxicated. Sweet treats, coffee cakes in many flavors, cookies galore, cakes in all shapes and flavors, all the sweet delights that will raise your sugar levels and send you to heaven. Worth going back again.
Today I went to pick up a cake that I ordered a couple days ago, the lady at the front counter Veronica if that's her real name, was very rude. No hi can I help you no smile no nothing. I had to tell the woman. I'd like to pick up a cake. I gave her my name she walked away she didn't say anything came back put on the counter again, didn't say can I get you anything else thank have a good day, Nothing!!!!! I have been coming here for years. I asked to speek to the manger but of course he wasnt in. I hope the cake I ordered is going to be good because between poor customer service and possibly a bad cake I will not return.
Great people great cakes very helpful from start to end. And they offer so many kinds of cakes n pies
First time going to this bakery and they had a really good assortment of treats. Tried the Black Forest cake, Baklava and couple of other delicacies. Totally loved all of them. The people there were really sweet too in helping and explaining stuff. I would definitely recommend this place and will surely visit again.
Got my Wife a strawberry shortcake for her birthday yesterday, her favorite. The cake was very dry as was the one last year too. Also, apparently post-COVID, they decided to stop putting "strawberries" atop the "strawberry shortcake." Yes, you read that right, now let that sink in a bit why don't ya. Barely even any strawberries inside the darn cake either. The customer service was great from at least one of the ladies on duty. We were very appreciative of that aspect BUT the cake just didn't impress us at all. Unfortunately, I do believe yesterday was our final visit.
I am putting one star because the filling cream was unpleasant to the taste , something tasted weird like if the filling cream was left out for long time before used in the cake, I was so happy to eat from that cake since I tried the small pieces before and wanted to try the 8 inch to celebrate a day . I kept saying maybe it is me but my husband said it has a weird taste too . It was disappointing. Looks great cake but that taste ruined everything
I love this place! The ladies who waited on me, were so friendly and helpful. It was my birthday, and my husband and I picked out a bunch of pastries, and a Domino Whipped Cream Cake! It was beautiful, and delicious!
