Chicas Corn Chips. A fresh new taste everyone will enjoy!
My mother whose maiden name is Arboleda, which means grove or tree plantation, was born in a very small town in the south coast of Ecuador named El Oro, meaning the gold. Her last name definitely represents the beautiful vegetation of the region. El Oro's humid and tropical climate is excellent for growing fresh vegetables and fruit trees. It is in this small town where my mother learned
how to mix the rich flavors of fresh vegetables & spices to make a tasty aji, which is the word that we use in Ecuador for hot salsa . My mother carried this tradition to the United States, and her salsa was always a big hit at the table. Since childhood I believed that this salsa should be available for everyone to enjoy. In honor to my mother, today I am very proud and privileged to bring to your table this delicious Arboleda Salsa (aji del oro) . Disfrutala!
