Chicken N Waffles

Lacks a little in the atmosphere area with decor. Split seating with men’s and women’s restrooms on opposite sides of the restaurant. The staff and the food was amazing!!! The wife and I did the grits, chicken and waffle. The chicken was cooked perfectly and skin was wonderful. I usually do not eat the skinFood: 5/5

I have came to this place multiple times and it is definitely not or miss I’ve had some really good food and some not so good. But today in particular I ordered the chicken and Mac and it was not a well made combination all though the macaroni was made well it taste very off because they put the meat from the chicken leg into the MacNcheese it would have tasted much better with the chicken strip meat cut up and put in there. I’ve also had coworkers tell me the same thing about the chicken not tasting great in the chicken and mac!!

I’m from the south so I feel I’ve had my fair share of chicken and waffles. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t get onboard with the flavor of the fried chicken by itself. Some may enjoy it, but it just didn’t do it for me. Oreo milkshake was delicious and it’s a good size with those fat straws so it’s easy to drink. Stars awarded for the shake! Staff was very friendly.

Service is always great. The food really just depends on who makes it. I always order the oxtails with rice and greens. Along with shrimp & grits and yams on the side. The food is always good when I order at night after 9pm I would say. The night cooks knows what they are doing & definitely made with love like it was home cooked. But when I order in the day the food is so bland with no flavor at all. Yams would be nothing but butter and sugar. So if you come here I would recommend coming during the night when the better cook is working.

No issues at all. Food came out fresh and hot. You can tell fresh food and ingredients. They could use more staff and maybe a more upbeat ambiance. But food quality was great. Food tasted great.... all dishes came out hot, fresh and flavorful. I would recommend anyone who comes to Sacramento try this hidden Gem!!!Food: 5/5

This place is very clean and organized. The staff is very helpful and polite. And the best was, as confirmed by the staff, all the items on the menu are Halal. I came here with my buddies and had a brunch for about an hour. It was reasonably priced and the oxtail dish that they serve is just phenomenal, the spiciness of the food was just perfect

I ordered the shrimp po boys. Taste great but not enough shrimps or sauce. The shrimps are small too. Fries are ok. The food here is expensive. I saw a couple's bill on the table and it was close to 70 dollars. Talk about inflation. Service was ok. Atmosphere is cute valentine theme.Food: 3/5

Unfortunately i did not enjoy the food one bit here , this was the worst experience i have had dining in Sacramento , the chicken melt was filled with cheese and green bell peppers that i literally could not taste the chicken , the chicken sandwich was not better as for the chicken burger that i ordered for my kids, it was bland and lacked proper seasoning, the only thing tasty on my plate was the fries which were really great and crunchy. The staff was extremely friendly and served our order promptly, despite that i will not be returning

Delicious food, excellent service in a peaceful environment. And my lady loved it and she never loves anything I eat. I will definitely be going back

This is one of my favorite places, especially during Ramadan... The owner is very nice and the employees are very friendly and professional. There are not too many places where you can eat breakfast and not have to worry about non pork options. It's totally Halal Mash'Allah.... There are so many great memories here, and my kids love it
