Chilangos Authentic Mexican Cuisine

Great service from the staff to the food! The place was very clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. The Al pastor meat was very well seasoned not spicy but with a good kick to it and the steak meat was tender and juicy. Our favorites were the homemade gorditas and Guaraches because we could taste the freshness and quality. Would definitely recommend and go again for the authentic feel and overall quality all at reasonable prices.

Chilangos Chilangos Chilangos!!! I like the fact that the food is impeccable. They are quick and they really give you plenty of food for your order. I got fish tacos, Pambazo and a mojarra fried fish that I forgot to take a picture of because when I opened the to go tray it was literally a whole fish lmbo! I'm talking about eyes and all!!! It was fantastic. The chips and salsa are fresh and salted to perfection, but you can always add more if need be. Definitely a jewel for the rockford area! Salud

Impressed with service and food. Chicken was amazing. Raising my prior review to 4 stars since my first visit earlier this year was not as good. They’ve improved! On my third order, they asked what kind of tortillas I wanted and I said flour but received corn. Ugg, don’t we all loathe incorrect orders?

Server was good had my typical steak buritto 2nd time here it was good/alright $8.19 I think with tax. Green suace was good, red was different not sure if I liked it or not but it did have a little heat. Chips where good salsa was okay. More of a 3.5 star burrito in my opinion.

Walked in, 5:20 pm, we were the only ones there. Staff friendly. Chips greasy and cold. Salsa just ok. Carnitas taco was ok. Husbands chile rellanos was unremarkable. Beans and rice very bland. Not a fan.

The food is not good at all. When this place opened up they were great but it has gone downhill. Tacos are bland… my boyfriend ordered the chicken enchiladas and they were disgusting and tasteless. He said it was like eating watery tortillas with some cheese. Salsa for chips is also watered down and tasteless. Very stingy too with their salsas and limes. Asked for some limes for my tacos one day and got one fingernail sized piece. No joke.

My family and I came here with another family. We all enjoyed our food. The service was fantastic. Sarah was really nice and always had a smile for us. We really enjoyed our time here. 12/20/22: We've been back a handful of times and I have yet to get something here that's not tasty. It's a great place for Mexican lunch.

They forgot my order, went back then they charged full price still claiming they gave me a discount for the mix up. Not sure why they would lie as if I wouldn’t have checked the price after. Sad thing is I have been a repeat customer. Guacamole also had some type of weird almost fishy aftertaste and way too much onions and burrito completely fell apart. Poor customer service and unethical business practices = no more repeat business!

Had heard about it had Good menudo . Well its was amazing more than expected the young waitress was so welcoming made the envierment so delightful had their rice water horchata was great . My child had there stake plate so tender properly seasoned. Definitely coming back ....Food: 5/5
