Child's Play Toy Store

What a wonderful toy shop!! Selection is amazing. Lots of science toys, books, Pokémon cards, LEGOs, costumes, stuffed animals, and little weird things that kids and adults love. I went for a last minute gift and they wrapped it beautifully. Will come back again and again!

Hi this place is hands down one of the best toy/game/gift shop there is in Portland. The employees are so helpful and patient with my children. It’s their favorite spot. Not only that, they also have great recommendations when you don’t know what to get for gifts. The store is really easy to look around they have great selections. Lastly, they even do the packaging for you. I wish I could tip them, I didn’t see any jar/bucket anywhere so I felt like I couldn’t express how grateful I am every time I come in here. It’s really important that my kids are having such a great time, I wish happy new year to everyone and the kind people that works here.

Very nice people! We've been struggling to get our son to give up his pacifier, and they let him "pay" for a toy with a trade. Worked like a charm! No tears, no angst, after months of trying all sorts of things! We really paid for the toy, but it made the whole thing so much easier!

I loved the place. Simple as that. They cashiers we're very help with their gift ideas and they even wrapped my present for free. I will totally be going again.

Awesome store, spent over an hour and still didn't see everything. It was tough to decide on a birthday present, finally did and then was pleasantly surprised to discover free gift wrap. Then, while they were wrapping I found squishies, which my daughter is obsessed with, so bought one of those, too and they're now wrapping it for free. Love this store. Oh, and they have a free parking lot.

THEY GIFT WRAP!!....FOR FREE!!!!! I tip them. They do quality work! These guys are able to fit an endless amount of skus into a modestly sized establishment. Me and my daughter have tons of fun browsing through the silly, cute & unusual stuffed animals like avocado toast. What I like about the place is they have a lot of new stuff that's coming out but they also have a few classic items that you might remember from back in your day. ENJOY!! :

Extremely helpful staff. They don't mind gift wrapping your purchase. They have a lot of popular, but also difficult to find items. I get all my kid presents here and get the good feeling of shopping locally.

We regularly shop here. I have found staff very helpful and the quality of toys is diverse and always entertaining lots of new surprises. My kids love playing at the open toys setup.

We love Mudpuddles - it's always been one of our favorite places to shop for birthday gifts, etc. For birthdays occurring during the COVID crisis/quarantine, we've been very happy to have a local option. You can browse and order on their website, and the owners have been very helpful with answering questions via email/phone. Should you so choose, they will even deliver your beautifully wrapped items to your porch within a certain radius, and I believe they are doing curbside pickup as well.
