It was great, many changes have been made Today was my first time to go there, since the pandemic began last February. Which is good for safety. The staff are always helpful.

ALWAYS helpful Staff....very friendly! Often I come in to do my Volunteer work and there is always someone to help when I can't figure computer functions - a lot! ALWAYS an AMAZING display of books on the second floor...arranged with care and attraction..!!

I've been going to the Bpt. Public Library since the 60's/70's. Recently went back after years, found & read my old favorite books. Received a new library card & ready to check out books! What memories!

Anna and the children's services staff at the Burroughs-Saden main library branch are friendly and very helpful. There are storytimes on Saturdays and weeknights for busy parents and caregivers to take their young children. The children's department is beautifully laid out. I love the Picture Book Room, the Lego table for little builders, and the coloring station. A great place to spend quality time with your young children and introduce them to reading and play activities.

Very friendly place. Staff are very helpful. At least in my experience. I suggested an edit to Google because it stated they closed today at 8. Just went there and they were closed. Hours on the front door said til 6pm. I'll go in the morning though. Also don't like the fact that they now charge to print and all that. If i remember correctly when I was younger and always went there they didn't charge any such fees. I could be mistaken by my memory though lol. Furthermore , this review is by me Jonathan V. I am just logged into my man's phone and forgot to sign in for this!

Lazy employees won't get up and bring a hold request to the circulation desk for months "in transit". All the time wondering why your DVD is taking so long to arrive. Also, non of them no how to answer any questions you might have. I think a lot of them are community service. people.

Visit the Friends of the Bridgeport Public Library Bookstore Wednesday-Saturday 12:00-5:00. We have over 5,000 books in stock from newly released editions to gently used. Prices start at .50 cents.

Excellent location only a few blocks from MetroNorth, Amtrak, and the Local Bus station. Local dine in restaurants just across the street. Walking distance to the Government Center and Housatonic Community Colllege HCC. Parking available right in front of the library with quarters. Inside the libary there is a payhone, elevator, and restrooms. Children's Center is on the first floor. Plenty of books to borrow, Windows computers with GUEST passes, and even FREE WiFi. Scanning is free scan to USB or email, yet print and copy is .10 cents USD per page. Friendly staff with pretty good hours for a public library when most places are closed on Holidays like New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve.
