Located in beautiful neighborhood of upper west side, this museum is more about activities then museum stuffs Kids can easily spend 3-4 hours here. Tickets are priced considerably cheaper, about $17 for adults. They allow same day re-entering to the museum, so guest can easily step out for food or other things and come back. There are four levels, each level focusing on different aspect of kids physical and cognitive development skills.
This place is tons of fun for young children. There's 4 floors and a small water exhibit. There is no food permitted in the museum but kid friendly restaurants are within walking distance. You can spend 2+ hours here easily.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
My two toddlers had a good time exploring the Manhattan Children's Museum. Favorite spot was the lower level H2O water play. Plenty of boats and fish and water spouts and sprays to peak the mind and curiosity of budding scientists. The other area favorite is the third floor where there's a gigantic fire truck and bus and kitchen area with plenty play food. They even have a fireman ple to slide down. The kids did not want to leave. Nice play spaces to move around. Great for ages 8 and under.
Such a cute little place for children. We had such a wonderful time with my 4 year old and 10 month old. There are lots of places to explore and play with. It's more like a giant kids cafe/sensory play! The museum is small compared to some others, but we can still spend hours here. We had to drag my kids out. The staff were all wonderful and very kind to us. There are different floors so the children get a fresh floor of new things to explore. I loved the arts and craft area with the huge coloring wall. I definitely recommend this place for all parents.
If you’ve got more than one toddler, this is the place for you. There is something that will interest every child here and it is just amazing. There are four floors of fun and wonder and it gets really busy, but it is all worth it. I took my two year old and three year old and it was almost impossible to her them to move on to explore each floor we only made it to 3 out of the 4 and it was even harder to get them out of the museum. It is priced SO WELL for unlimited hours of fun and that is so hard to find in this very expensive city! A lot of playspaces limit you to an hour or 2 and charge you 30-35 bucks per kid It was just $48 for me and my two babies. SO WORTH IT! I am considering a membership because apparently there are more perks!!!! Please visit and support this wonderful place. Final note: IT IS SO WELL MAINTAINED!!!

My cousin and I had such a great experience! We had a playdate here with our children and it was the best decision ever. Our children had a BLAST and we enjoyed watching them explore/take over . Will definitely be back. There’s a good amount of activities not to mention the already scheduled activities for the day.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entryFree
This is great. I would say that the perfect age is 3-6, but older and younger can play. Each floor has theme. One floor is all Dora and Diego. Very hands on.
Everything here is Beautiful. Great place to bring the kids. Well kept and a lot of levels to explore. Highly recommended.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
My 4 year old had a blast at this place. He doesn't want to leave up until their closing time.
