Childventures Early Learning Academy

My daughters have gone to Childventures for almost 1 year now. Start from the beginning, it has been a great experience and the toddler staff are absolutely awesome professional and helpful! My daughters adopt to the new environment in a week or so. They enjoy having breakfast at school, then story time, dancing/singing and they sure love the specialty rooms. We love to see their photos and I share them with grandparents as well. We are so grateful to all the amazing staff for their patience, passion, care and hard works everyday. Thank you very much to Ms. S, Ms. K and all other staff who have contributed to my daughter' growth and curiosity for learning. We look forward to have the great experience at preschool as well.

Child Ventures is an incredibly special place to start your child in their pursuit of education. There are many childcare facilities to choose from but CV has been hands down, a wonderful experience from start to finish. To withdrawal our little guy due to moving was one of the most difficult decisions we had to make given the genuine care that everybody at CV had for him. In any organization, the people make the difference in a client experience and the CV team consistently went above and beyond for our little guy and our family alike creating such a special CX. The only issue that we had was the CV team set the bar so extraordinarily high that we aren’t sure if anybody else will ever compare : thanks guys! You really are the best!!!

My son has been at the Childventures Oakville location since he was an infant and last month I was blessed enough to have the opportunity to watch him graduate from the SK program. Walking in that Saturday morning, my family and I felt like we were celebrities, as we were greeted with the smiling faces of his educators, mentors and director, then escorted to where the ceremony was being held. It was hard to find a dry eye in the room as the parents of the graduate gazed at each other knowing the joyous yet emotional weight that the day would carry. We were overjoyed! It was hard to find a dry eye in the room as I sat as a proud parent watching my son and his fellow graduates singing the songs they recited, walking to receive their certificates and throwing their hats in celebration. One of the most memorable parts for us was watching the slideshow which the team did an amazing job of putting together for us proud parents to watch. To add to that, 2 weeks later we received a copy of that slideshow which will be a terrific memory as our little man gets older and moves on to grade 1. Thank you Tracy, Shepali, Laila, Brittany, Raman, Kiran and Tania for your hard work, love, persistence and dedication, and a huge thank you to all the other educators who have helped to mold our son into what he is today. Thank you Childventures Oakville for helping to form the most precious early year of our little man's life. I have to echo a lot of what has been shared and celebrated by Danielle B below. We also had a rough start with our first daycare; I was prepared to quit my job after the resulting loss of trust and confidence. I was almost mean when I was asking difficult questions about how things are run at this center before enrolling. Matthew and Kathryn were super professional and tackled all those questions super well while never losing sight of the fact that our child was at the heart of it all. That was what convinced me and now all I had to do was convince Daddy; one quick meeting and tour with Matthew had him convinced as well and we were quickly enrolled. Your center renewed our faith and trust in child care and I thank you very much for that. Our child was allowed to follow his own sleep schedule which I honestly think is so important for the infant age group. He wasn't forced into a one nap schedule; he was in charge of himself and it formed such a healthy relationship with his naps and sleep. I often affectionately referred to Tanya as the nap whisperer which chatting with friends and family. I would check in on the web camera and see him skip along into the crib room while holding her hand - absolutely the best thing to see as a parent. That said, he happily jumped into any of the ECE's arms but he seems to have a special connection with Tanya and Sadaf. We recommend your care to anyone that is looking for quality care. Keep up the great work. I'm certain that your excellent care extended our parenting style perfectly and have been the building blocks to the brilliant little guy we have today.

I cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Childventures. The care, attention and support they have given our son is second to none. Tia, Tricia and Anoja and the rest of the staff provided him with a lot of help, hugs and assistance during the initial transition phase, and it went so much smoother than we had expected. They are truly amazing! He adjusted very quickly and was so excited to see his teachers and start playing when we dropped him off. All of the staff that we have encountered teachers, administrators and management have been very caring, understanding and accommodating to our family. They offer a great variety of high quality food for the kids including breakfast!! The facility itself is the nicest I have ever seen and it is kept very clean and organized. I would highly recommend Childventures to any parent looking for an incredible facility and wonderful teachers to care for their child!

We came upon Childventures Oakville after a rough start for our 8 month old son at another daycare. We were anxious to get our baby into a place with a calm environment that could offer him the love, care, and attention we give him at home. From the second we called Childventures it was an outstanding experience. Matthew, Kathryn, and the whole team went above and beyond making this a wonderful transition. The facility is spotless, welcoming, and is carefully built to be a fascinating and magical place for little ones. They feed him and allow him to nap on his own schedule, just like he would with us. Everyone we met there has been so warm and caring. The ECEs are exceptionally trained, smart, and obviously care so much about the children in their room. Each day we get a report about our son’s day how he slept, ate, what he learned. They even have webcams where we can check in and always see the wonderful, energetic, and joyful care they give him. They have a monthly curriculum tailored our child’s needs to help him grow and learn. Not only is our baby well cared for, he’s learning all kinds of wonderful skills and making new friends. Before we found Childventures my husband and I were so stressed knowing our baby wasn’t being cared for at his other daycare the way we wished for him. We feel such a sense of calm while he’s there knowing he’s in such wonderful, caring hands. We have no hesitation in entrusting the most important part of our lives to Childventures. Thank you!

A fantastic place for childcare! The facility is new, clean, spacious and well set up with large classrooms and plenty of equipment & activities to keep little ones engaged. The administrative staff were responsive and accommodating for my unique needs. The teachers were absolutely delightful in the loving care they provided my son. We were happy to see the benefits of the Montessori style education he received here. Highly recommend over any of the other options Oakville.

The Chef provides delicious foods to eat and tries to provide something that Ashton will eat he is very texture oriented and picky. They approach me to find out what his favourite foods are and try their best to ensure that he is getting what he needs throughout the day. Ella clearly loves her food and that has definitely not changed within the walls of CV. From day one, Tania has shown my children so much love, especially Ella. I am sure that Ella's babbling after school is all about Tania because she adores her. Dropping my children off in the morning on the second day was so easy because Ashton and Ella were already comfortable with Tania, which is a testament to how amazing of a teacher she is. Both of my children are "mommy's" children and I love that either one will reach out to her when I am not with them. Kiran recently joined the infant program and Ella loves her as well. I know that she is truly herself around Kiran and Tania because she snuggles into her teachers when she is sad and is feisty when she does not want to have her face washed, just like at home. Victoria and Tricia have taken such an interest in Ashton's accomplishments. I have seen such an amazing change in his eye contact and ability to respond to his name. Ashton has never given me a "hurry up mom" look when coming to school and I see it every morning when we arrive at the centre. He is so happy here and I know it's because of his teachers. Katie and Ashley have recently started at Childventures and they have already demonstrated so much love for all the children! They are both gentle teachers and you can see the children gravitate to them already. It's nice to have Janice be a familiar face for Ashton since he knew her from Richmond Hill and I'm sure that his transition to Oakville was smooth because of her love for him too. Ella loves to snuggle with Janice and she lets me know how my munchkins are doing. Not only was she there to support my children, but helped to support me as well. I am so thankful for the updates during my transition back to work. Matt and Kathryn are clearly involved with the children because both of my children look for you when we arrive in the morning or leave at the end of the day. It is to see Ashton not want to leave at the end of the day and often finds himself in either of your arms for comfort. Your support for me was endless and I truly appreciate all the support during this time. Thank you so much to all of the Oakville staff for the love and care you have provided with us in a short period of time. My children look forward to school everyday and I can look forward to work knowing that they are well taken care of.

We call our son Ryan sunshine personified - he is a happy, smiley little guy. His first daycare experience was at 15 months old at a centre that we felt confident in. Around 18 months, our happy baby disappeared. We told ourselves it was just separation anxiety, or the terrible twos coming early. At one point, we even considered taking him to his neurosurgeon at SickKids to see if something was wrong in his brain. He wasn't settling into the toddler program at his previous centre. He was crying all the time - a weepy, depressed cry. He didn't want to eat his dinner. He looked terrible. After hearing about Childventures from a friend, I made a desperate call to Matthew at the Oakville location to see if we could set up a visit. Matthew was simply incredible. He answered my questions, took the time to listen and without even seeing Childventures, he made me want to enroll our baby. He arranged for my husband and I to do a tour the next morning. All I can say is...WOW. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we felt the magical energy that fills every aspect of Childventures. Our tour led to a lovely conversation with Kathryn who showed such empathy to the journey we have had and an afternoon visit which led to another planned visit for the following Monday. Monday arrived and our visit was going so well that we decided to leave Ryan for the day. He didn't even bat an eye when I left. With the help of his amazing teachers - Tricia, Katie and Victoria, Ryan made an effortless integration to Childventures. Yes, he is a little teary sometimes at drop off but those tears dry up quickly as he is warmly and lovingly comforted by Tricia each morning. I then take a peek at the webcam such an amazing feature for this anxiety prone Momma! and see that our little man is a happy camper almost instantly. Ryan's Resource Consultant someone from the Region of Halton who works on his developmental milestones called me yesterday after her visit and was beyond thrilled to see Ryan happy again. We now have to revise his developmental plan because suddenly our baby is hitting every milestone. He is chatting more than ever before. Learning new words each day. And more than anything else - Ryan is truly thriving thanks to the loving care he receives at Childventures. I like to call Childventures the Disneyland of Daycares. The beautiful centre is bright, clean and offers so much visual appeal and excitement for young minds and adults too!. From Chris' warm smile at the front desk, to Kathryn and Matthew's generous and accommodating natures, to the lovely chef who crafts delicious and healthy meals each day and of course the teachers who not only have such a deep love and commitment to the children but clearly a true love for what they do - Childventures is Ryan's home away from home. As an anxious Momma, I can honestly say that I now love doing morning drop offs because it means I get to see a glimpse into the exciting day Ryan has planned for him. At the end of the day, I receive the most thoughtful reports that always include Ryan's WOW moment of the day - duets on the piano, dancing on bubble wrap and examining frozen plastic spiders with a magnifying glass - these reports help me feel a part of his day and are so cherished by us. We cannot thank Childventures enough for bringing back our beautiful boy's sunshine personality and helping him find excitement in learning. This Momma has been told that I have sparkle back in my eyes and it is all thanks to Childventures.
