Friends of Newton Parks started with a dream to create access to a beautiful, natural, historically significant sight behind our amazing library and Health Center in Covington, GA. Our goal is to get children and families with all levels of abilities into nature.

Two traditional events in the woods: Twilights, a woodland Christmas fantasy land and Fairy Festival at Chimney Park, a Mayfest inviting families, dressed in fairy finery, to build fairy houses of natural materials and participate in a festive maypole dance.
