China Graduate School of Theology, Inc. (US) (CGSTUS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the United States. It is a partner member of the China Graduate School of Theology in Hong Kong (CGSTHK). CGSTUS seeks to provide communication to and for family and friends of CGSTHK in the United States.

We do this by
(1) raising funds for CGSTUS
(2) rallying prayer support for CGSTHK
(3) encouraging students to study at CGSTHK, and supporters to participate in CGSTUS activities
(4) announcing CGSTHK news, events and activities around the globe
(5) connecting CGSTHK alumni in the U.S.
(6) providing a community for CGSTHK friends and family in the U.S.

CGSTUS is operated independently of the China Graduate School of Theology in Hong Kong, and is governed by a Board of Trustees. Various major cities in the US are served by our Regional Councils and Local Representatives.

Mission

Our partner member - the China Graduate School of Theology - is an evangelical inter-denominational theological school located in Hong Kong. It is an indigenous effort born out of, and sustained by, a vision to build up the Chinese churches to face today's unprecedented challenges and opportunities of church growth, renewal, evangelization of not only the Chinese but the world. The CGST movement began through prayer in the mid-60's in the U.S. This vision was realized and became a school on September 28, 1975 in Hong Kong.

China Graduate School of Theology, Hong Kong (CGSTHK) is committed to developing spiritual leaders in the Chinese churches. Rooted in Hong Kong and committed to China, its mission is to affirm the Great Commission, to shape pastors and lay leaders with integrity, and to aspire to an excellent theological tradition that integrates life and spirituality.

CGSTUS and its Office are mandated to promote the vision and work of the China Graduate School of Theology, Hong Kong (CGSTHK) in the United States.

「生命之道查經」

異象

「聖經都是神所默示的，於教訓、督責、使人歸正、教導人學義，都是有益的。叫屬神的人得以完全，預備行各樣的善事。」（提後三16-17）面對現今世情幻變，信徒十分需要對他們所認知的神和基督信仰有更深刻和具體的領會，藉以面對各樣衝擊、「在這彎曲悖謬的世代，作神無瑕疵的兒女」。「中神」盼望能善用神多年來所賜下的資源，提供適合華人，尤其香港所需要的查經配套，藉此回應時代需要和服待華人教會。
當中，希望透過每次的「查經作業」、「小組分享」和「專人講解」，讓信徒親身經歷查經的樂趣，藉此激發查考聖經的風氣和動力，從而讓信徒在家庭、教會、職場和社會中，活出信仰、得享豐盛生命。

目標

藉著有系統和生活化的「中文查經材料」和「經文講解」、引導信徒逐一深入理解每卷聖經書卷中的訊息，開拓他們的屬靈視野、深化他們的屬靈生命，從而更明白神在他們生命中的心意，令他們的靈命更穩扎地成長，更果敢地面對時代的衝擊與挑戰。

對象

特別為願意在神的話語上有進深和更新的華人信徒而設。

特色

這是有系統、有守則、有跟進的查經聚會，並且費用全免。每次以一卷聖經書卷作為查考單元、每季一單元、每單元八次、每週一次、每次兩小時：包括敬拜、小組查經和經文講解部份。每單元之間有適度休息，以讓學員有足夠時間消化和沉澱所學所得。

起源

「生命之道查經」是本院自2007年底開始的一個「新」事工。它之所以是「新」，不單是因為它的模式從未在本院的課程中出現，而是它根本不只是一個課程，也不是為要出版查經資料，而是為推動弟兄姊妹讀經的一個運動；目的是希望不同階層的主內弟兄姊妹都愛聖經，愛讀經。
這讀經運動的意念約在2007年初出現，蘊釀了將近一年後，於年底試辦。名字出自《使徒行傳》5章20節：「你們去站在殿裏，把這生命的道都講給百姓聽。」這節經文也正好說明了這事工明確的方向和對象：就是讓聖經向更多人展開，當中不論學歷、職業、身份．．．只要願意認真學習主話的，就能圍聚一起，在查經的過程中讓神光照、指引和調校他們的生命.
