First time here after moving to Seattle 8 years ago since we recently saw some reviews saying that they have a new chef and their dim sum is good. Came on a Sunday right after they opened at 11 and were promptly seated by the window. The food is definitely on par with good dim sum places in Seattle. Ambiance is good, nice water front view, easy parking, and friendly staff. Highlight was their Typhoon squid, which is a bit rare to find. We will definitely be back!
Haven’t been to this area so it was a nice visit for us, especially with the water view and seeing all the baiting activities. The place is old, could use some maintenance but charming, water view. This was a good perk for a little family dinner. We only order dim sum which is limited on weeknights. We enjoy that it came out hot, probably the hottest dim sum we had. What stood out was the pork seems better here than other dim sum places. Most of the other places tastes almost the same, which is good. We tried the soup dumpling, good but not as good as Din Tai Fung. Service was slow, seem understaffed but they are nice. Encounter a spoon that was not completely clean, it was washed just some dried food that oat likely the washer didn’t clean. Overall enjoy our meal, would definitely come back.
Love this place. Wait staff was very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and the food was DELICIOUS. Old school vibe- small staff working their butts off so be patient. It’ll be with the wait. Get the deep fried CRAB!Food: 5/5
More than a decade ago, I came here for my sister’s amazing wedding banquet. During the pandemic we also ordered takeout from them, but today I finally came back here in person for Saturday dim sum for the first time since back then. It was a fantastic, cozy nostalgia trip. Not too busy and the servers were attentive and friendly. Plus, the dim sum was fresh and tasty — it was a bit of my childhood visiting Hong Kong/Vancouver that I had missed so much. We did have to prompt the server for a couple dishes that were missed, but they were super friendly and the dishes came out very quickly after that.
Amazing view and dim sum, owner put lot of attention to detail, all ceramic is beautiful without flaw, and every dish will be served on specific ceramic plate to enhance the experience. This restaurant is sitting a huge float house, exterior and the externals might look dated, but once you sit down that million dollar lake view will bring your experience to new level.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!! First time coming in after driving by several times. We were the only people in the restaurant which is massive with a wonderful view of the water. I honestly don't think you can beat this price point for the quality of food in Seattle. They have several individual combos ranging from $11-15 and family style combos where you get everything listed from the menu which was insane. Food all tasted fresh and the fried rice from the combo was so good. I got the family combo B which was $23 pp , we got a massive appetizer platter, soup, and 3 entrees!! This cannot be beat. I personally think this is a hidden gem because everyone I went with said I had no idea this is a restaurant.
Enjoyed our meal here at the China Harbor restaurant! We enjoyed the view as well while we are our Dim Sum. Hopefully we can come back when we’re in town again.Food: 5/5
Located right along Lake Union, so you get a great view! The food and service was also delicious! We visited this place several times while staying in Seattle and we loved their Dim Sum.Food: 5/5
Foods taste terrible. Absolutely, I would not recommend it. Scary, if they are even safe to eat at all. We just tossed foods into the tasteless sweet and soup bowls. Most foods have stinking smell like they were not properly refrigerated. The hallway on the main floor has a strong odor from the unclean bathroom. They use cheap and flimsy forks. No knives provided. Parking: Very small lots.
Great restaurant w amazing views and our server was so sweet. We started w pot stickers and garlic bokchoy excellent portion size and taste, we liked all the bao buns, but our favorite was the pan seared pork buns. The customer service really was above and beyond.
