They are nice people but the food is sub par. Fried rice has no egg, just chix and onion. It was boring. Wonton crackers were cooked in burned oil, nasty. Spring roll cabbage was soggy mush. 2nd time here and just can't recommend it to anyone.Food: 1/5

I am new to Pittsburgh, but if this is the norm. I will not eat Chinese food again. The absolute worst egg rolls I've ever tried to eat. My main meal was not edible, spent $30 4 my meal. Egg drop soup good, if that is respectable...NOT. Do not spend any money here...awful.

I recently ordered a couple of lunch dishes The dishes were lazy, dry, and the rice was not cooked thoroughly. I gave this place a shot for being in the area for a couple of hours...but i certainly would not recommend this establishment to others nor will I return. Disappointing.Food: 1/5

Who is giving this place 5 stars???!! what are they ordering???? We ordered a couple dishes with the chili pepper symbol so it would be spicy. The food was bland so bland and tasteless. My homemade Chinese food is far better and i do not know how to cook Chinese, i fake it but mine has taste! will not bother going again.

Somethings were great, Id order again... a couple were not. Vegetable egg roll was phenomenally better than expected, real, thick mushrooms, and ither veggies, not just all shredded cabbage w a bit of carrot. The egg drop soup was too thick and not very warm. Heating would have thinned it some, but I think it needed more water/broth. The Sweet/Sour chicken with white steamed rice is what I expect in America, which was exactly what I was hoping for. The chicken fried rice was not good to me. Im not familiar with yellow rice and small strips of chicken with onion bits being called chicken fried rice, also, the rice was undercooked, at best I could say al dente, but truly, just undercooked and crunchy no, not pan fried crunchy. The lo mein was familiar to my American tastebuds, and also what I was hoping fir on this order. So.... veg egg roll, S/S chicken, and lo mein, I would order again. Not the soup or fried rice.

8 years ago I was working a job in this area, stopped by this place, and had some of the most amazing Chinese food I've ever had. Recently my friend drove me past this place and I told him I needed to stop and order something. I ordered the shrimp egg foo young, which I tried it probably 50 other Chinese restaurants. This is by far, the most delicious, sweet, savory, meaty egg foo young, with fresh tender vegetables, I've had in my entire life. And I can't wait to go back. Ty.

Excellent food and friendly staff. I've been reading the bad reviews. Totally disagree. Perhaps they're ordering something different than I did. The egg drop wonton soup is good. Pork or shrimp and broccoli are good. Last time I was there I was disappointed in the too crispy egg roll. But tonight they were good. Saw one review about the restaurants "backyard" There is no backyard. They share the building with a few stores including Subway and a beer distributor.
