Update- still has the door boarded up and is operating under COVID panic. Just shut down if you don't want customers inside your restaurant. Will NOT actually make food until you arrive. Doesn't matter if you call and ask nicely to let you know

China Inn currently has only has take out since COVID. They are still open I spoke to the owner today 8/30/2023Food: 5/5

China inn is one of the only Chinese restaurants in Brawley that are good. It does suck that you can no longer dine in but only take out makes it special. There food is great, i would recommend the beef chowmein, orange chicken, and ege rolls. The price are fair and reasonable. People always complain about the food taking a long time but they don't realize how long it takes make Chinese food. I would also recommend calling and placing your order before hand, it usually takes 20 minutes so you could save money and just walk in there to get the pick up yourself. Over all its a great place and my favorite place to get some chowmein, hope the place never has to shut down. Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: There are some nice things that i think children would like. I would recommend orange chicken and chowmein for kids. Parking: The parking area is manly a large parking lot for other stores that are nearby but there still plenty of parking for this restaurant.

This is China Inn. Not having good communication with their customers to explain what the system is to get their food that has been ordered. They should inform their customers to call from the car with their giving number and give a call back # to call them up for their orders. Food still good though

No dine in, left immediately. What kinda sit down restaurant doesn't let you in and sit down. Beyond ridiculous. And you have to wait outside for food? What is this even???Food: 1/5

40 min turned into an hour and 35 min. Quality of food was disappointing.and rather over priced. They ARE very friendly that was the only positive.

Food is ok. The portion are good though big portions and the price is fair. I wish they would stir fry the rice then maybe that would change a lot, I like to go off that then you know it's a bit more authentic

Seems like no matter how long you wait to go get your food it is never ready plus there is a line at the window that takes everyone in turn so people who are early go up and pay or even order while you stand there for half an hour waiting your turn. The food is good, the portions large, but I'm not sure it's worth the wait. This place has always been like this, even before Covid, no matter what time they said it was never ready, that's why I only go there once a year or so.
