Been having take out now for the past two years here, and am still impressed with how good the food is. My initial favorite was the egg foo young, some of the best I have ever had. Now I am loving the Mongolian beef, just an awesome flavor and not swimming in sauce like many other places. My wife has a couple favorites as well, so it is tough deciding what to get because there are so many great choices. The inside is rather sparse and not the cleanest looking, nothing that makes me concerned though, but the food has always been some of the best Chinese I have had and the service comes with a bit of character.
The food is horrible. Waste of money. The chicken they use in their dishes seem like they are just chunks of fat. I don't really feel like I am eating chicken at all, just greasy fat chunks. Most bland General Tso Chicken ever. A couple of times my food order took way longer than it should have. I guess it was a long time coming, but they have not improved their quality of food so I will never be eating there again. It is almost laughable that anyone would write a good review for these guys, let alone call them the best Chinese food in the area. Basically you have no idea what good food is if these guys are the best to you.
Had the orange chicken with an egg roll. Restaurant was dirty looking and bland, which sometimes signals they care more about food than decor. Was pretty disappointed. The chicken was drowned in a bland brown sauce. I had about six pieces of chicken before getting any orange flavoring. Got white rice which was clumped together and dried out. Chicken itself wasn't too bad. Price is very good for food.
This place is nearby and my girlfriend is a big fan of chinese food. So we went to China Wok. Right when you walk in, you aren't greeted with a smile. I had some kid ring up my order. I was like, this must be a family owned business. The decor was rather horrible as it looked messy and dirty. So after ordering and paying for my food, they told me to come back in about ten minutes. So my girlfriend and me ended up hanging around the area. Coming back later only to have our food slammed down infront of us and walking off. I was like, what the hell? Just by that, it showed me that they didn't appreciate my business. My girlfriend told me to let it go. My girlfriend even got real sick off the food as it may have been under cooked. In conclusion, I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are rather rude and don't treat customers with any respect. Find some other place. Recommending to drive out further.
