The cinema is conveniently located near the Chinatown Metro station. They offer popcorn, beer, chicken tenders, burgers, candies and other refreshments at the concession stand to enjoy during the show. The seats recline and I enjoyed watching Wakanda Forever at this theater.
This was our first time going out to the movies since Covid-19. It was a little eerie to go back, so much has changed. The positives first, staff is friendly and helpful. We bought our tickets online so we needed assistance on admissions. As it turns our there is one ticket person available to scan you digital receipt and you're in. They still have snacks, decent hot dogs, fresh buttered popcorn and ice cold beverages. The theater was clean, sound and seating great, we opted for 4D which was cool. Personally I thought the 4D effects were a little distracting at times but that's just me. There is room for improvement. A little more signage would be helpful giving directions on tickets and admissions for those of us who are just going back to the movoes. The ladies room had no seat covers or toilet paper. YUCK!! They were also low on some of my favorite candy snacks. That is all. I would go back to the movies again at this Regal location but I will have extra tissue paper in my purse.
Great experience!! First time ever going to a 4D movie and it was amazing! The movie was awesomeQuiet Place 2 but it wasn't the best choice for 4D. It didn't have rain, fog, or thunder. So I didn't get wet or anything. I loved it though, the chairs moved and blew air from behind me. It scared me a bit. Just choose a movie wiselylike one with rain and thunder that you can see in trailer
Ok. This was my first 4D Experience. I will have to say the water was a bit of a shock...no a big shock when the movie started. I loved that the seats not only move, but you can feel the impact of some of the actions on the screen as well. The theater was somewhat crowded but not annoyingly so. We saw the movie woman king. LOVED IT! The 4D added an element of fun. But I had to turn the water feature off. I have sensory issues that make being wet even a little uncomfortable. But I would love to try it again for another movie. Or maybe even the same movie.
This was my second time visiting this movie theater with a 10-year gap between the two visits. I went to see the menu. About 5 minutes into the movie is when I got their. My recliner was not working, there was trash in my seat and in the cup holder and there was a mice running around my seat. I couldn't do it so I went and asked for manager and a young lady named Alyssa came to assist me. I told her i wanted a full refund. She did and that's all she did. Ms. Alyssa was so disconnected and numb about my complaint. That's my last visit.
I forgot an item on my seat, tried to reach out the theater almost 30 min after and it was impossible to find a direct line to it. Online customer service provided a number the next day, when I called the person who answered was exhausted I guess and had very little patience when I asked questions because they have not found it. Although the experience of watching a movie was good, if customer service employees are not able to be understanding to customer's needs, it is very difficult to want to come back.
Black Panther Wakanda Forever was so awesome. Best movie ever. The special effects were like the Universal studios rides. It kept me at the edge of my seat through the whole movie. Everyone's performance was excellent. It's a definitely must see. Everyone in the theater loved the movie. And applauded when it ended.
The only reason I gave this two stars is because the theater was clean and the concession folks were friendly. Out of two womens restrooms and two mens restrooms, only one was working. They tried to tell us it was a unisex bathroom and yes women and men were using it at the same time. No one monitoring it. Imagine bringing your 8 year old daughter into a bathroom where men are using urinals. Absolutely disgusting. Corporate doesn’t answer their phones so I’m hoping to warm some people at least.
My experience is always a nice one. The workers are kind and work as efficiently as they can. They need more staff immediately. The last few times I visited, they have been short. It's way too busy to only have 3 registers open. It's not the workers fault which is why I wouldn't give a low rating. I love this location!
For starters this was my 1st experience with this particular location as I've been a regal customer and/or member for the last 15 years I was very excited about going to this location because I am an original Chocolate city native and had never been to this location so I decided I would try my luck and unfortunately From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out was absolutely terrible the individual that took my order at the concession counter had to be asked 4 to 5 × 2 assist at the register was so blank and just communicated as as little as possible to get through the transaction by the time I had managed to place an order the amount of just utterly negligent and distasteful customer service that I was met with it turned me off completely so I instantly refunded my concession purchase and found my way into my theater, the showing, the actual screen and all other sound was good I was not able to enjoy it at all due to the fact that there was a very small toddler that was allowed into the movie theater especially considering it's specifically lists that children under a certain age are not allowed into these particular 3-D style movies and I'm almost certain that this child was well under that age due to the fact that they had to be wheeled in-and-out in a stroller to which they didn't occupy a seat and That totally ruined my experience overall I initially wanted to pay for the 4DX 3-D but though the standard 3D would be just as amazing, and I definitely should have because I feel as though I would have enjoyed my avatar experience that much more i'm very sad that this was my experience with regal and just overall as I've anticipated this movie since the premiere of the 1st 1 in 2009. I can't say that I will be revisiting this location or recommending it to anyone that I know I do Hope that all others that decided to see this movie at this location have a better experience I will be seeing this movie again unfortunately I will have to at a different location very soon. Still a regal member I just know better for future references!
