A legal clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario, the Metro Toronto Chinese & Southeast Asian Legal Clinic has been helping low income, non-English speaking clients from Toronto’s Chinese, Vietnamese, Cambodian and Laotian communities since 1987.
The Chinese & Southeast Asian Legal Clinic is a community based legal clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario which provides free legal services to low income, non-English speaking clients from the Chinese, Vietnamese, Laotian and Cambodian communities in Toronto. We are non-profit and are independent from the government.
In addition to providing direct legal services, we empower the communities we serve through public legal education. Over the years, many people have attended our education workshops and have received the multi-lingual brochures we produce on various areas of the law
