Chinois City Cafe

Had nothing but praise my first time here. Second time here the front desk didn't even acknowledge I was there. Sat someone else even though I was there first picking an order up, and didn't even ask if I needed help. After that they continued to wait on other people. I literally had to go up to someone and inquire. To make matters worse they put chicken in a dish I asked for without chicken. I am a vegetarian and it was off putting to bite in to chicken. I call and Terry says what can I do for you to correct this, remake your order? I say fine, even though I live 20 mins away, and have a friend pick it up for me. To her surprise there is still chicken in my dish. You could give me my $18 back is what you could do for me. I even told friends good things about this place after my first visit, and was sad to hear they are closing at the end of year, but no longer. Honestly, you should paypal the cost of purchase and make things right.

Very rude customer service. We were not even acknowledged when we walked in. We just stood there stating at the guy typing away on the computer, tried saying hello, we have 2 and just got ignored.he finally looked up and stared at us with a "what are you doing here" look on his face. We politely told him he should greet customers as they walk in so they feel more welcomed and wanted... we then left.

Consistently excellent food at very reasonable prices. When we eat at the restaurant service is excellent and when we bring the food home it's always reliable. The only downside of take-out is that the "to go" fortune cookies are not dipped in white chocolate.

The quality of the food is consistently delicious they strive to provide the best service possible they have the best warwonton soup and have a wide variety of superb food in Sacramento the selection of happy hour food and prices are the best all the regular customers love Terry the owner ,he goes out of his way and will do anything to make you happy, he wants you to return and is looking forward to seeing you back....... try it you'll love it......... tell Terry that Jerry sent you ,,you'll have no regrets..

Food was good. Kind of pricey. I liked the honey walnut chicken. Pot stickers were good too

Really delicious Chinese food. Service is fantastic as well.
