Went in this evening to get dinner at 9:10, chipotle closes at 10. Asked for a steak salad, steak burrito, and kids tacos. Was told that I couldn’t get the steak for the salad or burritos because it needed to be saved for online orders and they didn’t plan to make any additional for the night. Clarified with the staff that in order for me to get the meal I wanted, I needed to go sit down and order my food online, at which point they could then make the order, instead of just making the order with the steak they have sitting right in front of me ready to be used. Honestly this made no sense to me, and the worker couldn’t have been more unhelpful.
We have always liked chipotle! But the last two times we have been to the Layton store it has been totally disgusting with dirty tables and floor! We have had to ask them to clean the tables! There is obviously no supervision there! It makes you lose your appetite. I think we will try another area next time!Food: 3/5
Me and my girlfriend grabbed a bite eat and the food was great. But unfortunately every single table and the floors around it were so messy. We had to settle for the least messy table. While the workers talked the whole time.Food: 4/5
Good food. Ample servings. Servers really should learn when customers need them to talk louder. Even though some of my meal had other than requested ingredients, it was good. I like the custom drinks. My rating is 4 and seven eighths. Thank you.
I had such an amazing experience here Friday evening, Dec.16, because of an employee named Macey! I have never had such quality service before in my life. When I asked if they have corn tortillas she let me know they only had hard corn taco shells then asked if my food needed to be gluten free. When I said yes, she immediately changed her gloves and put my food together start to finish to ensure there was no gluten that came in contact with my food. I was shocked and so grateful, and she simply said, "I take your health very seriously." It may seem silly or little to someone else, but that kindness and sacrifice of time meant the absolute world to me. She really went above and beyond, and I won't forget it.
Love the food. But sometimes the service is terrible. Sometimes they are out of food, basics like cheese and rice. They limit to what you can order in person vs online app ordering. It’s ridiculous they are losing money. My biggest issue with this store is everytime I visit. I usually don’t post review, but walking in today I noticed how messy it was. Quite disgusting. The floors and tables are never clean and swept.
I’ve heard so much hype around Chipotle and was anxious to give it a try. I was disappointed right off the bat that I couldn’t use my gift card online. I had to go inside and wait in-line. Strike one. Once it was my turn to order, it went like this: I would say that I wanted the chicken burrito with brown rice and black beans and he slapped a tortilla on the grill and proceeded to ask me what kind of rice, beans and meat I wanted. He did this on every meal in my order. Strike two. The check out experience was great and the employee was polite. Once I got home and started to eat, the steak was terribly grisly. There was way more fat than meat. There were a couple good pieces but almost every single one came right back out. So I paid extra to waste more food. Strike three. My overall experience was awful which is too bad because the food that didn’t have the awful steak, was pretty tasty.
Worst customer service experience ever!!! I went in to order dinner for my family. Ordered 3 large quesadillas after waiting in line. They then told me that I can’t order quesadillas in the restaurant and I have to do it online. I had just ordered quesadillas last week from the Bountiful location restaurant and all was good. The manager Brianna Johnson said I needed to go outside and order online she was so rude and ignored me when I told her I wasn’t going outside I had been waiting to order and I didn’t see why they couldn’t take my order at the counter when it became my turn. She ignored me and continued to help other customers around me. Would not take my order. They did say I could order small quesadillas. So I called my son and he was good with 6 small quesadillas. Ordered those . Made a comment saying way to go with the customer service. She then said I am refusing you service and calling the police. Very unreal . Needless to say I will never eat there again. Sad world we live in that we treat a paying customer so poorly.
I’ll think twice before ordering online and can’t see my food ahead of time. The quac is dark. It takes hours for it to turn dark like this. Even after turning it …. No light green underneath. As a matter of fact I pulled out a nice chuck of almost black. I had also quac added to my bowl and is is so dark I couldn’t eat it. Do better chipotle. My husbands order was fine. You pay extra and it is not even edible.
Chipotle used to be so good but the quality has gone down. Their meat is full of fatty, gritty pieces and every time there is something wrong that makes us not want to come back. So sad.Food: 2/5
