I met Josh, Michelle and Jeff last fall and spent the winter plowing the ice road out of their beautiful resort. While getting to know an amazing family throughout the winter I never experienced the "resort life" in the summer time. My family and I were blessed to stay here a couple nights. The kids have had an amazing time swimming and enjoying all the water toys. These folks are amazing and if you are looking for a vacation for relaxing or fishing don't even think twice about booking your stay today. Just do it I promise you won't be let down. Great amenities, great cabins, great people. 15 out of 10 highly recommended.
Stayed with another couple in the Steamboat Bay Cabin for three days. LOVED the woodwork and view. Great upstairs loft style bedroom for kids. Large deck with nice firepit area too. Noticed the entire cabin does have a lean to the front and a few minor issues. Mostly with the sink handle and patio door. Really nice to have use of our own golf cart to drive around. Great fishing in the harbor off the docks. Very happy to find they are pet friendly! Great job! We will definitely be back.
Love Chippewa lodge! The cabins are cozy and very clean. The owners, Josh and Michelle, are beyond kind. They make you feel right at home! The property is large and great for evening or morning walks. There is a nice beach area and beautiful harbor. Michelle and Josh also ensure there are events DAILY for both kids and adults! A wonderful place to relax and unplug.
First timers- we went for a wedding and choose to stay the week. Fishing was great, cabin was clean with beautiful view, lots of activities for the kids, and service was wonderful. My kids enjoyed the ice cream and free donuts on Friday! We rebooked next year for our entire extended family!Rooms: 5/5

Was a lot of fun meeting the owners. They are absolutely wonderful. They are outside every morning to greet and thank everyone coming off the lake from ice fishing. Something you never see anywhere else. The ice roads are so kept up as well by the ice guys!Service: 5/5
We've gone out of this resort the last two weekends for ice fishing. It's Chippewa's first ice season. They have over 17 miles of roads and over 400 plowed spots. Their service is outstanding! Super friendly owners. Highly recommend Service: 5/5
Such a great place to stop in for gas, food, to say hi, or as like today...ice cream!!! Thanks Chippewa! Our harbor is only deep enough for one person to leave the channel. Thanks for letting me pick up my family at your dock. New owners...same great experience. Always a friendly face at the gas dock and warm welcomes in the lodge. Great place!
Year 2 at Chippewa first few days have been great. Discovered awesome apparel in the lodge and great prices. Came in handy when we needed a few more pants! Free ice cream Sundays yesterday! Noteworthy details: Very clean cabins and well equipped. Beautiful veiw from our deck which had comfy chairs to sit in. I love this place.
