Description

The Chisholm Trail Expo Center, built in 1998, includes an enclosed 100,000 sq. ft. pavilion with meeting and banquet facilities and a concession area that can service business, trade, livestock, farm and machinery shows.

The Coliseum provides seating for up to 9,000 and is designed to accommodate major entertainment events ranging from rodeos to concerts. The Chisholm Trail Expo Center is part of the 160-acre Garfield County Fairgrounds complex, which also includes a 5,000-seat speedway, livestock buildings, outdoor arena, the Hoover Multipurpose Building and Youth Building.

More than 500 events are held at the Expo Center annually, including rodeos, concerts, car shows, track meets, monster truck shows, meetings and banquets.

Chisholm Trail Expo Center is owned by Garfield County. Financing was provided by a 1-cent county sales tax.

Stayed here in our RV for a few days while visiting friends. Good value, friendly folks in the office, and plenty of room. The water and sewer were on one side and the electric on the other making it a little challenging to get everything lined up, but I would imagine the utilities are set up to accommodate a number of different uses RVs, vendors, livestock, etc. This wasn't an issue for us and I completely understand why things are set up this way. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
Was there for Jurassic world, was a little disappointed not alot of dinosaurs for the price they charged, but my grandson had fun I guess that's what matters
The book read couldn't be heard above the music and was too long. Lost the 4 yr old attention. The apple tree and all the food presentations were excellent. The carvers were overwhelmed. They should have had the tops made to the point of adding the kids color choices; then the 30 minute wait time among 80 kids wouldn't have taken so much time. I had a great respect for their craft. Thanks for all the hard work that went into all the presentions.

The staff are great folks and very accommodating. We have found a great place to hold our classic car auctions and other special event auctions. We look forward to many years of great events at The Chisholm Trail Expo Center. It truly is a great facility.
Great if the air conditioning works. The managment andnreoair crees are horrible. They dont care if your event has air conditioning or even working restrooms. Run down old building that need cleaned from inside to staff.
This is a large multi-purpose Expo Center, located at the Garfield County Fairgrounds. The drive to build it was Spirit on by one of my friends from grade school. I'll never forgive him for making Junior Patrol Captain twice and I never got to be at once! But be that as it may, if you are looking for a great place for your organization to display their Wares in a large setting, this is your place.
We Had our 10 year Vowel Renewal! What was suppose to Be a Special day turned into a Disaster!!! We were suppose to start at 5pm But there was no Air coditioning!! It was Hot As Hell!!! They put 2 swamp coolers in the Building.which made the floors soaking wet!! Our cakes melted, my dress was black from the floor..tge place was fikthy!! The women's toilet didn't work nor did the paper towel Dispenser!! Our some of our Guest had to leave due to it being so Hot!!! We finally got Air at 9pm!!! Some of our guest had to leave due to it being So Hot!!! And when we told the Expo about it the Next Day the didn't care at All...I will never Recommend anyone to have anything there...WE GOT NO REFUND AT ALL!!!!!
About the only good events are the Christian bands/singers. Other than that nothing great, home shows, farm shows, guns shows etc. Would rather go to OKC for the great bands and shows.
