my order arrived after 2 different estimates approx 1 hour total. The ribs had good flavor, but were cold. As well, I hate to say it, but tiny. I paid premium but got the end of the stick - as it were. I understand there is a large and short end, and if you order 1/2 rack you take your chances. That said, if I were the person verifying the order, I would have asked the kitchen to find a couple of extra ribs to make it a "meal". 2 stars only because the flavor was fantastic
During the upgrade to their new system in which chaos is always anticipated their live chat customer service was prompt and amazing as always. Although our food was delivered two hours late, they maintained cool communication and even offered a full refund although we declined.
If i could go negative 1 I would. We ordered food at 11:58; it arrived at 1:32. Then it was the wrong order. Mosley's BQ said it was a chomp issue not theirs. I've been on hold with CHOMP for over 2 hours. Great Service CHOMP! $89.00 ORDER!!! Will someone call me please..I've now left a voice message; silly me thinking I'd be able to talk to a warm body! VF
My order never arrived but the main problem is there is no customer service. All I can do in the app is submit a comment but there is no response and no way to request a refund. This was originally a one star review but I was eventually able to contact them through the website and they issued a refund so I am revising to 3 stars. They say they are working on adding some type of customer service to the app - definitely needed!
Waited 2.5 hours and had to pick up the order ourselves. After 90 minutes we made multiple calls to the restaurant and Chomp with no answer/response. After 2 hours, we saw online that the status was "driver at restaurant" which stayed that way for over 20 minutes, so went and picked up the food ourselves. When we got to the restaurant, there was no Chomp driver but food was waiting. Person there said we were the 2nd Chomp order to come and pick up their order. It was cold and not worth the inflated pricing. 3rd strike and you are out, Chomp. Buyer be ware.
APP would not take multiple gift cards very easily. Worked with Customer Service on 2 different days. App still was very very picky and I had to enter the same info over and over. The I Am Not A Robot check come up way too often and makes the rest of the data entry painful. It is way too annoying. I upped my one star rating to a two because the customer service reps were nice if not helpful.
I waited 2 hours for my food and still haven't gotten it. Don't try calling them because they don't return your call. Won't be using them anymore.
Wow, I am Super Impressed with this service! It was painless to schedule delivery from so many fantastic restaurants in the area! I was also thrilled to find it far less buggy than Grubhub! I only wish it was available in my home area-- but whenever I visit in the future I will be using it! Well done!
We have been loyal chomp user for a long time but the last few months it’s gone down hill. Our last two experiences were AWFUL. The first one was 50 minutes over are already 1hr delivery wait time. The driver never put they left the restaurant on the app but I called the restaurant and the had left with our order 30 minutes before I called. We are 5 minutes from the restaurant. They had our food for over 40 minutes after they left the restaurant. No good explanation when I called costumer support. Similar situation for our last order. Our order wasn’t here in the hour time frame it said on the app but the app said our driver had been at the restaurant for 20 minutes. I called the restaurant and they said the driver was not there and our food had been done and ready to go. When I got ahold of someone they said the delivery driver had multiple orders at the same time and we happened to be last in line. This is unacceptable to me. Long wait, cold food, lack of communication and sketchy that they have my food in their possession for so long when we live 5 minutes from the restaurant.
software and UX could use an overhaul and i don't know how much work has been done to preserve privacy and security but if you stick to the website and not the mobile app, it's a solid 4!
