We tried baba idli and mysore bonda here. Idli was average not that great. For bonds they won't give you any chutney or sambar, we need to buy by paying extra money. Sambar or chutney each one 1$. Coming to biryani , we tried jackfruit biryani its nice. You feel like having a mutton biryani. Also we tried chicken biryani which was not that great. Overall it's an average taste for all the dishes. My personal opinion is like, I won't go to this place again until other restaurants closed near by.
This place is amazing!! Just imagine like a Indian Chipotle. You can build your own wraps, bowls or platters or choose from one of their traditional ones. The staff was very friendly and helped guide me through the process. I tried the Chicken Malai sauce with homemade naan wrap. They also have full self seating dinning, a full bar with patio and a separate patio that wraps around with scenic views of the city. Highly recommend trying, especially if it’s your first time. Very reasonable pricing as well. Will be back here!
Today I visited Chopathi restaurant turned out to be an absolute nightmare. Not only I encountered a distressing incident involving insects in my food, but the behavior of one of the women with spectacles working there was exceptionally rude. Upon entering the restaurant, the atmosphere seemed pleasant enough. The ambiance was cozy, and the aroma of freshly cooked meals filled the air. However, my excitement quickly dissipated as I sat down at my table. Restrooms where awful Expecting an apologetic response and a swift resolution, I was taken aback by the dismissive attitude of the waitress. Her lack of concern and disrespectful behavior left me feeling frustrated and disrespected as a customer. Not only was the presence of insects in my food an appalling discovery, but the unprofessional and rude behavior exhibited by the women with spectacles working at the restaurant further compounded my dissatisfaction. The entire experience left me questioning the integrity and commitment to customer service of this particular establishment. As a customer, I believe it is crucial for restaurants to prioritize cleanliness, hygiene, and respect for their patrons. Regardless of the frequency of customer visits, it is essential for restaurant staff to treat all patrons with respect. I highly recommend people to not visit. Check your food before you eat.
The location was good. Sometimes the Bondas taste so good and twice they tasted very raw and oily. The plates are not properly washed as anyone can find the stains are visible. The toilets are poorly maintained, as they are not at all cleaned not even once of my visit in more than 20 times until the review is posted. Few breakfasts and chicken starters taste good. If you ask extra sambar or anything, they charge for it without hesitation. And there are times where they not even serve ginger chutney for the ordered plate out of many plates. Sometimes some staff are really friendly and sometimes they seems like they really don’t care you. The tea here is 2.5 out of 5, I don’t recommend. Punugulu are Crispy and too much oily. I really love bondas here. Chicken biryani was normal. The pot biryani will serve 2 people and the taste was ok, I can’t complain on it. The parking space is congested from time to time. They do take orders for occasions, which is pretty good.
I was a regular customer and liked this place, but not anymore. I bought a wrap and they gave me a wrap that was so small in size with missing ingredients. I went back and I was surprised that they couldn’t even see the difference between a normal sized wrap and what they gave me. Took a photo below. After they agreed that they will replace it, one of the guys tells me that they didn’t take the $10 payment of one of my old orders from one month ago. What a timing! I’m already upset about the wrong wrap and suddenly I have to pay more. I came there multiple times before after that missed order and they never called it out until today. It was ridiculous. Where is the proof that I bought it and didn’t pay? What if he was just making it up to make me pay for the new wrap I am asking them to pay? I paid for it anyway, but was it really my fault if they forgot to get the payment at that time, if at all I bought it? Was $10 really worth to upset the customer even more? The guy who made and handed over the new order was at least nice and respectful. The one, with the glasses I think, who brought up the old charges didn’t even seem to care. I gave this place a 5 star in the past but due to today’s bad customer service experience, I am changing it to 1. I know it might sound unfair but it is also unfair to ask a customer to pay for something there is no proof of buying. Restaurants like these don’t think of the bigger picture, which is customer retention, customer service and growth. They’re worried about $10. Well, in return they lost a customer and maybe some of my friends who usually come with me and they get my bad word-of-mouth spread and a 1 star rating.
The best mysore bonda ! hot , crispy and fluffy ! tried the babai idli which was good and vada which was really oily ! Mysore bonda was the highlight here !Recommended dishesMysore Bonda, Sambar, Veg
Well done goat biryani with very good mirchi ga salan and raita. Their butter milk tastes good, home style. Again, homestyle sweets sold like rava laddu and bondi laddu. Seating is good, both indoor and outdoor. Staff was friendly in taking the order, gave good recommendations on the menu. My recommendations - 1. Bathrooms were okay but needs a regular check and cleaned at intervals 2. Good to change the silverware and serving style not plastic plates, such hot and good biryanis cannot be eaten in the plastic plates
I had always been a fan of their taste and quality and am a regular there. And when I saw their specials for today, I ordered the Shrimp special. The quantity is ridiculously less. It is literally the box they use for chutneys for 2 orders of dosa/tiffins/etc. I was charged $20 for that. When asked why the serving size is less, we were told that shrimp is expensive. I understand that prices of food are increasing, but please do not take customers for granted. The quantity of food I got today feels like some kind of joke.
Food is so good that I bet you will have hard time picking one from menu. Other than biryanis and appetizers their dosa and pani puri will remind yyou of Hyderabad bandiwala. The service is slow because they service more than double the usual orders. It's chaotic because crowd just flows and stay there until they savor on their cravings. Next visit plan for atleast 1 hr wait and come in at non peak hours or order to go.
This is NOT a place for a good family dine in experience!! I’ve always had bad experiences with wait times for take out in this restaurant, I should say, unorganized and irresponsible take out place! I’ve to share the worst experience I had. We checked in at 9:14pm hungry and ordered food and paid the bill and decided for a good family dine in experience. We had to wait a lot for the food to come as the staff were busy packing food for other take out orders! We got one item of one of us after 25mins and rest of family has to wait till 10pm to get their food including the kids!! This is a bitter experience for us and cold staff has no responsibility to address the issue and we were hopeless. Very disappointed with the service! Would NOT recommend this to anyone for dine in and good luck for pickup wait times! You’ll be exhausted and definitely loose interest in food by the time food arrives!
