Christ the King Catholic School in Daphne, Alabama provides a Catholic elementary education for kindergarten through eighth grade students.
Christ the King was established as a parish on October 24, 1937, when Bishop Thomas J. Toolen laid the cornerstone for the church building. The parish school, Christ the King Catholic School, opened in 1949 under the leadership of Father Denis Gray, pastor, with the assistance of the Sisters of Loretto. The school serves nearly 500 students in grades K-8 today.
